Taking a little break from all the Pac/Floyd talk, Gary Shaw gave HBO a list of guys Sergiy Dzinziruk would want to fight, the list includes: Cotto, Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez, Vanes Martirosyan, and Kermit Cintron. Which of these fighters do you think he can beat?

Can vote for more than one.

Martirosyan, but that's about it. Dzinziurk is badly overrated on here. His best wins are over; Julio - A close fight, Julio is a b-level contender. Konecny - Another average fighter, Dzinziruk was fortunate to get the nod even though the fight was in his hometown. Won a close UD over Daniel Santos, Yuri Foreman had an easier time against Santos than Dzinziruk.

He's a decent fighter, but bases on his recent fights, he is not a top 154 pounder IMO.

uuuhhh, no. sergiy is a protected fighter who refuses to fight outside his hometown for a reason, why risk losing against top comp when you can cruise you're way through handpicked fights without ever worrying about losing and get payed for it?? sounds like the life to me, thats what felix sturm is doing.

He obviously would beat Angulo, because Dr. Shaw-hi made Alfredo drop his belt rather than face Dzinziruk.

He can beat all of them. If he will is another question.

I did see the Santos fight, Sergio clearly won, but when Santos applied pressure Dzinziruk seemed uncomfortable. Foreman did beat Santos more clearly.

I don't agree that Dzinziruk would beat Paul. To beat Williams, it takes head movement, slipping of the punches, and well timed counters. Sergei keeps a high guard, fights out of an upright stance, and uses a firm jab as his primary weapon. Similar to Felix Sturm. Williams would have a field day with Dzinziruk. Sergei does not counterpunch, and won't slip Paul's high output shots, and will just have Williams' fists in his face non stop all night. Dzinziruk doesn't throw enough shots to deal with this, and will end up getting easily outworked. His style is easy for Williams to deal with. Sergei may pop Williams with some well timed straight shots, but on the whole Williams will throw more and connect with more shots to win the fight.

Please don't post if you don't know or keep up with the sport. Dzinziruk
broke w/ his european promoter to sign w/ an american fighter to fight in
AMERICA. Sergei is from the ukraine. And since you didn't know this either
the ukraine isn't a hometown in america.

    Inbreeder!

2nd that. Except the part about countering. The rest is accurate. I only
voted for cintron, cotto, and green vanes. I don't think he beats sergio
    or pwill.

In Ukraine waiting for the next opponent. First it had been Collazo. He said he's not ready. Then Mayorga backed out weeks to fight. Angulo refused to fight losing challenger status. Now WBO ordered two mandatory defenses against Williams and Chavez. Both are not going to take it. Vanes Martirosyan is going to get title shot in this case.
