    Speculation PPV numbers
Arum also said that “we are happy because we did well over a million homes and I think it will be closer to 1.5 million.”

    Official PPV numbers
The Top Rank-promoted fight generated 1.25 million buys and $70 million in domestic pay-per-view revenue.

So if 1.5M is just speculation then maybe the official PPV numbers will be 900k - 1.2M

There are so many bull**** boxing writers on bull**** boxing websites, I don't believe it if it's not on ESPN, Yahoo, Sports Illustrated or something similarly credible. The only boxing-exclusive site I'd consider credible is The Ring.

Yes, and Pac is popular all on his own. EM, MAB, DLH and Hatton had nothing to do with it.

    Nothing at all.:good:verysad

Don't they have to release it though? How long did it take them to give the Clottey numbers?

LOL, Pac vs Oscar was supposed to be a circus act. I'm suprised it even top 1 mill PPV, nobody was going to buy that **** from Oscar. If Pac was to be as bad as he was right now and face Oscar for the first time it would be 2 mill plus PPV.

In the days after, they said they did "very well". Then, after a little over a week, they said they did 700,000.

That was solid numbers, especially for a fight with Clottey.

But Bob is saying they did over a Million, and some people came up with the 1.4 number.

But the delay in the reporting, especially when Arum said that the numbers would be out by Thursday, leads one to believe that the numbers were lower than expected, something that played out with the attendance numbers at the acutal stadium. This also played out with the Pac/Hatton numbers. Arum announced a figure, but when the numbers were slightly below what was projected, Arum went into silence mode.

I guess we will just have to wait and see.

This fight strangely had the same number in attendance as the Clottey fight, 42000!

Pac will lose numbers if he relied on his own people because in 24/7 they were watching one of his fight on this little TV and it must had been 1500 people in one room. Save money invite the whole city.
