In fairness to pacquiao. The best African American fighter in the world doesnt want to fight him. But if he fights Mosley next then it is an absolute joke
Forget all the Black American style of a second. Though Black American's do tend to use this style more then any other race since most black have the physical tools to pull it off the best. Which is why blacks have been attached to this style more then any other race. But its more about guys with excellent timing, head movement and quick feet to slip punches and escape while having the hand speed to counter with devastating accurate shots and combos. Many none blacks call it running. That is the style that Roach would not like to see Pac up against. Its the style that Cotto used on Mosley towards the end of there fight and the style that Cotto used on Pac in the 8th rd of there fight. Guys like Morales and Marquez gave Pac all he could handle with that style minus the athleticism. Guys like Quintana, Mallinaggi had this type of style. But again blacks are more so attached to this style because blacks tend to be more athletic this most races in boxing so there foot speed, hand speed, agility, head movement tend to be quicker/faster maximizing the ability of the style. So in short imagine Marquez with quicker feet and faster hands, but of course you would have to lose the Mexican blood in him and willingness to stand and trade. lol
