Hmm... it's lookin' like Pacquiao-Berto is next...!!!

  1. It's welterweight titlist Andre Berto. He has yet another soft-touch defense on HBO against Freddy Hernandez on the Marquez-Katsidis undercard that he has to win, but Arum called Lou DiBella, Berto's promoter, this week to talk to him about the fight. DiBella has a clear understanding that any talks he has (or any other promoter has) about a potential Pacquiao fight are strictly in the event that Mayweather, who has been reluctant to fight Pacquiao and now has serious legal issues hanging over his head, either won't or can't take the fight.

Easy fight for Pac. Gets the "African American" out of the way.

Arum's prolly just keeping his options open. I'd be surprised if Berto is selected ahead of Mosley; pleasantly surprised at that.

I rather see this than witness my boi mosley get abused. berto is as black as can be. Pac would turn him purple tho.

    He was born in America.

  10. Pacquiao-Mayweather
    Pacquiao-Martinez
    Pacquiao-Mosley
    Pacquiao-Marquez
    Pacquiao-Bradley/Berto/Alexander

That's the order of interest for me. Mosley beats every one of the Young Pups @ 140, so Mosley is a tougher fight for Pac. Basically, aside from Mayweather and Martinez, Pac destroys everyone else. But it's not his fault if there's no one left.

It's about bankability at this stage and the order is as follows:

    Mayweather
    Mosley
    Marquez
    Martinez
    Berto/Alexander/Bradley

    :deal

Good for Berto if that's true but he better not pull a Zab Judah (Baldomir fight) before getting his shot at cashing in with a mega bout.

emmanuel would KO Williams too. Williams doesn't "fight black", but he's up there in terms of being a challenge.

I think its funny how *******s say "if floyd fought berto than he's a bit34" yet pac can fight him and thats ok..

Dont add up..in my opinion berto is a good opponent for either fighter...but don't act like he's "ok for manny but not for floyd"

Better than a Mosley fight, no doubt, but nothing I'll get excited about AT ALL.

This will do horrible PPV Numbers. I very much doubt there will be a 24/7 on it either.

It'll just be a display of what Pacquiao can do.

A Berto fight would be interesting if it were true. I don't think Berto carries enough clout to land a Pacquiao fight yet.
