This fight isn't going to happen. Arum knows how hard it would be to sell that fight. Just look at his last two performances.

Very true, but HBO always end up pulling it off with their 24/7's and with Nazim's interviews
I really really hope, for the boxing fans, for the fighters reputations, for our own intellect, and for boxing as a whole, that this fight does not happen!

A demotion of Pac should this fight happen. Ridiculous.

Arum was really serious when he said his outfit is running out of fighters that wasn't gobbled up by Pac, so Mosley may serve as a reserve as Shane is willing to lick Arum's behind and jump ship just to have some mega payday..

For Pac's last couple of fights, it seems Arum is determined to keep the money all in-house now, and milk Pac for all he's worth before letting him go into retirement..

Here's the latest and someone tell Shane on his tweeter to **** off. Article from the scene about Manny coming back in May......

Manny Pacquiao is looking to take six months off before returning to the ring for his first fight of 2011. Sources close to his camp told ABS-CBN that he plans to fight around the month of May. Outside of a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., the next leading contender is "Sugar" Shane Mosley.

Last Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Pacquiao battered Antonio Margarito to win a twelve round decision and capture the vacant WBC 154-pounds title. Even with the dominating win, he suffered bruised ribs and hurt his hands. He wants at least six months of rest to avoid being easily bruised in the next fight.

"We’ll take a break, 6 months, so that I won't get so bruised,” Pacquiao said. "We saw that Margarito on fight night, he weighed 165 pounds, almost 17 pounds heavier than me and that’s why he’s strong. It was difficult for me.”

Bottom line Manny just got in a fight and as a congressman maybe he can have some say for himself finally.

That's what I thought they were gonna do, so why try to negotiate with Mosley before December is done? They could wait untill early spring to see how the Floyd situation develops, and pursue that fully.

Mosley shouldn't be a frontrunner for the Pac sweepstakes. Shane already had his chance with Floyd. Geez, give someone else a chance. If Floyd isn't giving any young, accomplished prospects a shot then Pac should be gracious enough to do it, especially when he's the good guy of Boxing. Any of these guys are acceptable (unless they're coming off a real bad loss): Berto, Bradley, Williams. If Pac beats any of them I will gladly give him full credit. I'm just damn tired of seeing the super fast guy vs. the incredibly slow/damaged man scenario.

Nobody will pay to see Bradley or Alexander fight Manny...Berto, despite his physical gifts, just isn't ready and may never be ready for Pacman...Paul Williams fight is no longer a viable PPV option as he just got his ass kicked so...It will basically come down to Floyd, Mosley or Sergio IMO and I think most people would be OK with him ending his career with fights against 2 of those names.
