Pacquiao 6 division World Champion?

    Why do people say he is 8 division World Champion?

    he was champion at 112, 122, 130, 135, 147 and now 154 :huh

    In pacworld.. they make up titles as they go along. Just b/c he fought at that weight he fought for a title. In all reality he won no real titles at 154 or 147. Neither guy he fought were the champs of the division. Go figure.

    the IBO is recognized as a legit world championship belt?

    Ring and lineal titles were included.

    Barrera was the best at 126 and Hatton was the best at 140 so both were included.

    It makes sense.

    He got the lineal Ring magazine championships at 126 and 140 which in many opinions are better than random ABC title belts.

    wasnt cotto a beltholder or do you mean like the topman in the division.

    The WBO title dont really mean ****. Never has. But he was neither. He got that as a vacant title against Michael Jennings.. That says a lot about that title. But **** it.. go ahead and include it.

    he beat the Ring title holder and the recognised main man in the 140 division, he beat the man that beat the man.

    Yeah I think it was a vacant title won from the covenent Micheal Jennings.

    the lineal title was devised by the fans, so whatever way you like to slice it, Pacquiao was the 140 champion.
