Its either paper titles hold no merit or you fight the best in the division. You take both and run with both. You tout his wins over Barrera and Hatton which were none sanctioned non title fights with any of the major belts as a championship fight when they were just two of the top fighters in the division. Then you give cresedence for an 8th title that was against a non-champion and not even a top fighter in the division. WTF is your case to make the Margarito fight legit? Why b/c Forrest died and Margarito was next in line for a shot? lol

yeah but I don't know why people keep doing it. What other champion is he supposed to be beat at 154 to be 'legit'? Cotto again? Cornelius Bundrage? Exactly how would that make it more legit?

well unless Pacquiao was ranked number 3 by the Ring and faced Martinez he would maybe get the Ring title.

yeah... I don't understand what you're trying to say here. Pac faced the toughest guy at 154 and beat his ass. Unless you think Cotto is tougher than a no bricks version of Margacheato, in which case Pac already beat him convincingly.

am really trying to say anything on that issue.

what I don't understand is people looking for issues to discredit the man.

Haters, pure and simple. They prefer bald black guys with fu manchu mustaches or guys who talk a lot of trash.

He is an 8 division titlist (take that as you will), he's been the lineal champ at 112, 126, 130 and 140 (I think that's more impressive than the 8 abc titles.

:lol::lol::lol: margarito is not the toughest guy at 154. He's one of the worst.

I find it hilarious how *******s discredit the Baldomir victory despite him winning the Lineal title (that title only matters when Pac wins it)

Yet when he beats Margarito for a VACANT TITLE. Margarito is now the toughest fighter at 154? :rofl:rofl

do they count? do the others count because of the ABC titles?

So somewhere someone is giving credit to those ABC titles. Like you for example?

The ring titles are counted. For the MAB fight he was suppose to get the title but MAB didnt pay the fee or something so they took it away from him just before the fight
