I think it means that terms of negotiations can be made public, unlike last time when KLits had Haye sign a contract saying he couldnt.

hmm Sounds good on the surface, but how practical is that.

Is Booth allowed to talk about his contract details and agreements with Sauerland, ARD, Golden Boy and Sky on Live TV? Is Bönte allowed to share details of their RTL contract on live TV with unrelated 3rd parties?

What about confidentiality agreements. I mean wouldn't Sauerland be pissed if their contract is revealed to unrelated 3rd parties? Will RTL enjoy hearing how their box sport partner (K2) is publicly discussing their mutual confidential agreement in public? I mean do you not the RTL execs would be pissed off at Bönte next time they met? Just thinking out loud here.

You see this "public negotiations idea" sounds good to people who have no clue about how business gets done in the real world, but I have to wonder how practical it really is.

You forget that there is nothing hidden or unknown about the terms Wlad offered Haye, 50/50 no options(unlike the Valuev fight). As Haye himself said in a video after Wlad signed the fight against Chisora, the reason why he didn't accept is because he wanted all of the British PPV.

Team Haye are just throwing another obstacle with the intention of avoiding a fight. Multi-million deals are not made in public and never will be.

This is exactly as I see it.

If Vitali were booked to fight a mandatory, and Wlad free, Haye would then be calling for Vitali, for whatever reason.

Booth seems like a VERY unqualified and wishy-washy *businessman/manager*, especially for dealing with money on this level.

The only time I will ever believe that a fight between David Haye and any Klitschko will actually take place, is when I see them standing in the ring opposite one another. Until that happens, I won't believe it.

If Vitali and Wlad are both free at the same time, Haye would be calling Fritz Sdunek or Manny Steward out.

Haye is creating one obstacle and smoke screen after another. It is obvious that he needs to present credible excuses to his loyal British fans while he is slowly working off the Sauerland options.

Once he gets rid of Sauerland (and thus his contract with ARD) does anybody in their right mind believe Haye will ask for a bidding process for German TV money?

It is the same BS as usual from Haye camp. They know there is no better deal in Germany than RTL same as there is no better deal in UK then SKY. They are stalling so Haye can milk his paper belt fighting bums before Klitschko exposes this hype job.

This is a good point. It seems like excuse making on Booth's part. It is highly likely he wants to run out the Saurland option. I didn't realise it was a 3 fight deal so it makes sense that he'd want to get it out of the way before Haye's career high payday.

Good post. Public negotiations is a BS way for Booth to discredit K2. Don't get me wrong, I think K2 are full of ****, but there is no way they or anyone else would ever agree to this and Booth knows it. It proves nothing in my eyes.

This is ******ed. Haye generates much more cash from his TV deal than Wlad. Why should he give half of a very big number in order to get back half of a much smaller number? 50-50 makes no sense.

Pointless public debate, because it will be both Wlad and David's mandatories coming up soon anyway...

Haye made 4 million euros from his TV deal fighting Harrison who is a big name in the UK and who hyped the **** out of the fight. All in all he made 6 million euros.
Vitali made 16 million euros fighting an unknown like Sosnowski! 3 times as much

Haye's earning power is very overrated and after the stinker against Valuev and the Audley debacle he probably won't make half as much as he did...

A 50/50 deal is ridiculous but for some reason the Klitschkos are willing to give it to him...
