Last Poll on Martinez-Williams II

I had the first fight a draw but I think Martinez takes a close decision tonight. Wouldn't bet on it though. I do have a bet on the over.

Yeah 10-12 were very hard rounds to score...I gave 10 and 11 to Martinez, and the 12th to Williams I believe.

When I say Martinez gave Williams the middle rounds...there were 1 or 2 close rounds that were up for grabs, Williams wasn't doing enough, but Martinez was doing less...and I had to give Williams the rounds even though Martinez could have been doing more. If Martinez would have upped his work in those rounds, I don't believe Williams would have had an answer.

 

Agreed. I had 10 and 11 to Martinez too but had the 12th even as it was one of the hardest rounds to pick a winner.

 

I don't trust my pick much but I'm thinking Williams gets busy from the opening bell and wins enough early rounds to hold on.

 

The first time I scored it, the 12th was an even round.

Man, I can't wait for this fight now.

 

I think they're replaying Pac-Marg first but I already saw that this afternoon. I'm anticipating Williams-Martinez 2 too. Next week we have Katsidis-Marquez & Froch-Abraham, what a back-to-back weekend!

Alright, I like watching both these guys and hope they both come out more popular with this fight. I had Martinez winning last time, but I think Williams is gonna take it this time by tko.. He will come out and keep his distance and not slug as much. He will be more disciplined this time around and will hurt Martinez in the mid rounds.

 

Oh, never mind is used in a good way. I wasn't implying that Katsidis v Marquez is the lesser of the two bouts, or I'm not bothered about it. Just that with getting Abraham v Froch next weekend, you wouldn't then expect to get another top bout like Katsidis Marquez...works out great for us boxing fans.
