right, this is coming from a guy who probably loves the klitschko's more than he does his own life. sorry i dont suck them off as much as you do, doesn't make me a "hater of all things eastern european" as so hilariously put. as far as im concerned ive noted on several occassions matt korbov, gennady golovkin, denis boytsov, dmitry pirog, and ismayll sillakh are some of my favorite current day fighters. just because i dont have a man crush on all eastern european fighters as you apprarently do doesn't mean i hate them. sergiy is just a an extremely dull fighter that's content with padding his record. why would it take a "hater of all things eastern european" to see his style doesn't match up well with any of the top fighters? go cry to bailey and all the other pro euro ***s on this forum. they'll understand your pain
either way he's just never gonna fight anyone with a pulse, he'd might as well fight in his hometown since nobody outside of a couple of europeans would wanna see him jab limited opposition all night cruising towards dull decisions. apparently you're one of them, you can have him buddy.
He could easily beat Vanes. Vanes is complete ****. I would also pick him against Cintron. Against Cotto I wouldn't pick him, but I think he could definitely give Cotto some trouble. Against Williams and Martinez I can't see him winning in any scenario.
Not only did he go through hell to get oiut of his Universum contract so he could sign with an American promoter but he moved to LA too hoping that it would make it more difficult to be avoided. Angulo who had the WBO intrem belt won't fight him PW called him out, Sergei responded then PW didn't utter his name again. Sergei has been wanting the whole 154lb division yet nobody has stepped up. note the version of Santos each guy faced. He moved to Los Angelas when he signed with Shaw about a year ago. Yet he still is being ignored.
Where the hell do you think his hometown is? Considering he's fought all over in six different countries, they can't all have been his hometown, can they?
Analysis for your reason? Not saying I necessarily disagree, I'm just interested to read why Cotto would do it so soundly
Bumping this thread just for the hell of it...well really, I like bumping this thread in the wake of Martinez' massacre of Williams tonight, it might change some minds and alter perceptions. I actually think in the wake of the fight, a match against Williams might be do-able. Paul will be coming off a brutal KO loss and probably won't find any takers at welterweight. Unfortunately for Sergiy, it might become really do-able for a lot of other fighters as well (and PW could very easily turn to a Cintron rematch for a bigger payday). At any rate, it will be interesting to see if more votes go Paul's way in the poll. EDIT: Also, Shaw was specifically requesting the winner of Martinez/Williams....yeah, that ain't happening.
