does anyone think that martinez is a great matchup for Pacquaio?

I think Pacquiao peppers martinez up with his speed and martinez' hands down style.

He's just too big and skilled for Pac.

I don't believe it's a smart match-up for Pacquiao, in that I think he'd lose. It's be an utterly awesome risk for him to take at this point though.

A far worse style matchup for Pacquiao than his recent fights.

Yeah, like five times worse, I'd think. No wait...6.43265 times. Wait...No, yeah, 6.43265 is right.

It's only a good idea if Martinez agrees to some ridiculous catch weight.

The size difference is just to huge. I thought Pac had a little trouble in there with Margarito weight already. These bigger guy will just push Pac around...not a good matchup for Pac. Pac has done enough already, go back to welterweight.

Martinez is too big for Pac. Pac has to stop going up in weight.

Pac outboxes Martinez at 154 but Pac would urinate blood for a week because of the damage martinez would land on Pac

Still, Pac is too quick to accumulate rack up rounds

I think it would be a great fight. Since winning a close decision against JM Marquez March 2008, Pac has lost 1 round (Round 1 to Cotto) and has beaten Diaz, DLH, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito. If Pac can avoid getting caught with a perfect punch like Paul Williams, he can make this fight with Sergio Martinez very competitive. Sergio is an inch shorter than Margarito so Pac wouldn't even have to hit as far up. Since Sergio has human eyes, he will see the same blur the above mentioned fighters saw when facing Pac.

Martinez is everything that Pac's team has been conspicuously avoiding since they fought Marquez, and there's a damn good reason for it. At any weight where Martinez is healthy, he beats the snot out of Pac. Although it's testament to Pac's greatness that we're even talking about them in the same sentence; Pac's still essentially a large JWW.

if they were the same size, yes.

but giving up 22+ lbs will be too much.
