Alright, bump bump. I checked a little while ago Sergio Martinez and Paul Williams were both 5 and 10 on the google search engine, and on yahoo Sergio Martinez was number 8.

If that KO wasn't SportsCenter-worthy, nothing is.

 No doubt, I haven't checked sportscenter, but surely they will show it. Hell, they showed that Asian Amateur KO I don't see how they wouldn't show this one.

It is one of their main headlines on ESPN.com so I would assume they would show the KO on TV.

Oh yea, and also I'll just throw this out there. On FX sometime in January there is going to be a series about boxing, Lights Out...I think? Anyway, just saw a preview earlier today, and The Fighter starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale the movie about Mickey Ward is coming out in mid December.

Heard a Pacquiao reference from Deion Sanders on the NFL network in regards to the Finnegan/Johnson fight in the Titans/Texans game today.

Ok, I guess Beyonce talked about Pacquiao on Sportscenter the other night. I didn't see it, just heard about it. Some model also talked about the Pacquiao-Margarito fight on Conan or George Lopez one of those shows.

Then we got some numbers Pacquiao-Margarito drew over 1 million in buys and then I don't know the official numbers for Froch-Abraham, but that was a big ass arena and there was a **** load of people. And yet again Ward drew a nice crowd against a nobody. (in the eyes of a casual fan)

Sadly, Bika might be more well-known to casual fans than any of the actual Super Six participants - due to his Contender exposure. The ratings in Season 3 were still decent and ESPN wanted to renew it but Tournament of Contenders priced themselves out of the deal (which is why they wound up in the wasteland of Versus, resulting in Troy Ross remaining off most people's radar for so long).

TV note: Versus is the brodcasting partner for the World Series of Boxing. They announced this at the last minute, finally, but luckly it's done and we will be able to see some amateur boxing. This is inaugural seaseon for the WSB season and it will be on Versus, and Versus will show 30 shows. So, it should be fun. :good

Yea no doubt. I guess I should give Bika a little more credit, but my thinking was that most Americans already forgot about The Contender and forgot that Sakio Bika won the third season of the show. (Plus, remembering a name like Sakio Bika might be too hard for Americans  )

Bump bump. For those that didn't catch the inaugural show of the WSB make sure you catch the replay tonight on Versus. The replay comes on in almost 5 hours. (the replay is showing during the Saul Alverez fight so make sure you DVR it the WSB or the Saul Alverez fight on HBO Latino)
