I am curious to know why Bob Arum appears to be in a rush to get Pacquiaos next fight sorted? Pacquiao has said he wont fight for 6months yet Arum is already talking about options if the Mayweather fight doesnt come off.

Seems to me that there is no way Mayweather will agree to anything any time soon with his legal troubles and the fact his trainer might be going to prison!

My opinion is that the first set of negotiations fell through and both fighters were at fault but Pacquiao was slightly more at fault. The second round of negotiations were 90% Mayweathers fault but to me if Pacquiao signs to fight someone else within the next couple of months then third failure to get the fight done will be completely Bob Arums fault!

Bob just wants to keep the cash flowing. Have the next one lined up, maybe he thinks pac/may will be later next year

maybe its his job? and with PBF being in constant trouble with the law, i think Arum's just looking for other options.

Surely his job is to work for Pacquiao. If you ask Pacquiao who he wants to fight next Im sure he'd say Mayweather but Arum seems to be making it nearly impossible.

everybody in the philippines are eager to see a showdown of floyd and manny. even other congressman are craving for this. only arum and the leeches(advisers) on mannys camp are the bull****.

Exactly. I know Mayweather is very hard to deal with but the way Arum is conducting himself at the moment is ruining any hope we have of this fight coming off. Mannys camp need to come out and say they are not interested in anyone else other than Mayweather and stick with that statement until the end of January at least. If Mayweather hasnt come to the table by then fair enough move on and fight someone else in May, still plenty of time to organise a fight

Mayweather is 90% at fault but Pacquiao gets busted lying on 24/7? What kind of crazy logic is this?

Arum's said Mayweather will get first option. If Floyd ****s them about again and declines, with Pac fighting in 6 months, as his promoter it's only sensible he'd have other options ready ASAP so's to ensure they have as much time as possible to promote it.

    F's them about again by...

-- Offering a 14 day cut off, them LYING saying it wasn't offered and fighting someone else

-- Stating no cut off and them LYING in the press saying they agreed to everything and then being busted on HBO 24/7 only offering 7

Sure that is all on FMJ.

If the issue was the cutoff date Floyd and his team would not have been quiet about it.

If you listened to the Mayweather camp apparently there were no negotiations.

Floyd just wanted a break, words from his mouth. No one knows when he intends on coming back. Can't hate Arum for being prepared, even if his intention is the Mosley fight as the backup to FLoyd.

IMO, its Mosley who is on rush making the fight. As if there is a first come first serve policy on Pac's camp.
