Exactly. Especially considering Martinez KO rate which most on here are ignoring. The numbers don't lie and when you are getting knocked cold by by a guy with a 50% KO rate questions have to be asked.

Exactly. They all want to act as if Martinez is Earnie Shavers or something - when his record shows he's closer to Paulie Malignaggi.

I have nothing against Williams man - in fact, I predicted him to win and am disappointed he lost.

But I have to tell the truth. A year ago, I called this, and took **** from all the Glass Jaw Deniers. Now, it's pretty obvious Williams doesn't take the greatest shot, and the same ostriches who can't seem to recognize that china chins exist in boxing!!!

And there's nothing "in bad taste" about telling the truth. It's just being honest. And I have to tell the truth about glass jaws in boxing. It's my duty as a fan.

You try taking the shot that Williams took, any puncher can threw a GREAT shot regardless of KO percentages. It's the ones that you DON'T see coming that knock a fighter out, as for glass jaw thats an absolute joke, Williams has been in with big punchers and coped fine before! He just took an absolute peach of a shot that would have you out for the count easily Zakman. Any fighter who gets knocked out HASN'T got a glass jaw. God your posts sometimes are truly abysmal.

:happy Paul was coming in and paid for it. It was the perfect punch thrown at the perfect time and I think that shot could've at least put anyone on the canvas. It's not PW's chin that's the problem, the problem is he leaves himself open to get countered plus has bad defense and Quintana exposed that in their first fight.

There were signs that Williams' chin was suspect before this.

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=190312

Martinez, with his 50 percent KO percentage, isn't exactly George Foreman. I agree that it's not 100 percent clear that Williams' chin is glass, but it HAS to be considered shaky now.

We will see what happens in his future fights. If he gets starched again, I think we'll have to bump this thread then!!!

Paul was cocky going into the first Quintana match, I don't think he was cocky at all against Martinez in the rematch. He got caught and now he needs to learn how to fight tall and move his head. Probably too late for that but he has a chance. I'd like to see chincheckers take the punch williams did, they would be KTFO too. Damn internet warriors don't know what the hell they're talking about.

I thought I had missed identifying that his chin was GLASS. Believe me, I saw his questionable whiskers get shattered LIVE, and loved it.

Actually, I didn't miss it, though. I had forgotten that a year ago I called it, and took the same kind of **** from you Glass Jaw Deniers:

Questionable chins exist in boxing. And when a guy gets starched - knocked out cold - by someone with a 50 percent KO rate, you GOTTA call that a shaky chin, minimum!
