No idea too why the ref bothered to count, I think the doctor was up on the ring before the dumb ref finished his count.

Gloves are meant to protect a fighters fist not there opponets head upping the weight of gloves will just make fights worse.

Yeah, I think it was him having another Marquez Mayweather post fight moment. Today he must think he was an idiot, and he's right.

I was about to write what the ref was doing. He was touching and slapping their backs all the time. He stood behind them, touching them. One time he stood in Martinez´way moving backwards. It seemed as if he didn´t have a clue what he was doing. And then BAM. ESB crashed :nut

I totally disagree. If that was the case, then lighter weights would use the same gloves. 16 oz gloves are always used in sparring to protect the opponent. Knuckle pads and wraps are used to protect hands. Any padding on impact will absorb both concussions and snap and thus jarring of the brain. Thicker headgear are also known to absorb both snap and concussions

Prize fighting is different than sparring if you add heavier gloves and headgear and all that it's just the damn amateurs it waters down the sport, padding will not always absorb getting your brain jarred by the way, the whole point of the 1-2 left jab, right cross is snap the head back with the jab then when there chin up hit him with the right even with headgear there's a lot of punches especially uppercuts and the like that will snap the head not to mention a good hook to the whiskers.

"What did you see here?". Like he would know as he just got ko'd! I do agree that was evil for Kellerman and I hope Paul rebounds and learns his lesson. Your a tall man, USE YOUR REACH & SIZE!

Whenever I have to listen to that smug ***** Kellerman or the old drunk Merchant disrespecting a guy after a loss the urge to put my fist through the screen is overwhelming, if I had to watch that **** live I would have to jump into the ring and deliver a flying tackle to the ****.

Agreed and it's the most distasteful **** ever in my book no one wants to watch a woman reaction to her husband getting beat or there mortified children it's just terrible.
