It was like the Tarver Punch on Roy just perfect .I agree I don't know to many people that can take a clean shot like that ..Doesn't mean their chin is weak ..Hell Duran was Ko ed in 2 rds was his chin weak ?No !
Listen. YOU ARE NOT GOOD AT IDENTIFYING BAD CHINS. Yes they exist, but everytime a guy gets knocked out, you come on here and say it. It's absolute ****ing nonsense. Williams has taken shots throughout his career. I bet you never said he had a questionable chin when he took Margarito's best shots, or all those shots from Quintana, or Cintron's best shots early on, or all those shots from Martinez in the first match. Suddenly, he gets caught with one of the most picture perfect punches you will see this year, above his best weight from a guy with under-rated power, and suddenly it's questionable. **** you. ****. Don't post on here again unless it's to inform us all of impending health problems so we can all laugh at your slow, painful demise.
Guess you missed this thread, huh kiddo?? I called it a YEAR AGO!!! http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=190312 And I took **** from the same fanboys like yourself who can't seem to recognize that glass jaws exist in boxing, and yes, I've called them again and again on this site!!!
It happens, lots of good fighters have been KOed and bounced back from it.I mentioned Herol Graham, good fighter who was knocked cold like Williams was and although he did get stopped a couple of times late in his career he was never out like that again, his chin was never mentioned as being glass. The Duran one is another good example,Lennox Lewis is another.
Exactly this is boxing ..Knockouts are bound to happen ,it doesn't mean people who lose by KO have weak chins ..Only a non athletic keyboard troll would say people have a weak chin after a great shot like that !
Both Herol Graham and Lewis had shaky chins. If it happens once, you can say it's a fluke. More than once, it's a pattern. Duran was the exception to the rule. Once in a lifetime, actually. Only case I can think of of a guy with a rock solid chin getting starched like that.
It may not happen in your lifetime, but one day Internet Archaeologists will find your attempts to educate people about glass jaws and shaky whiskers and you will be recognised as the great man you are.
Its what boxing is all about. If you had a guy who was getting knocked cold by jabs every other fight you would say he had no punch resistance but if you have a fighter who is say 30/4(all 4 by ko) who is a bit erratic and leaves himself open to the type of thing Williams did and ends up knocked out now and again its not a punch resistance problem. If Williams had problems in this area we would have seen it before now against Margo maybe?
Thank you sir! I try, and I take abuse from all the deniers. Sometimes I feel like Galileo must have when the church authorities were denouncing him as a heretic. These glass jaw deniers are like flat earthers. No matter what evidence you put in front of them, they still deny reality!
Paul does have a glass "Jaw" and did you see his eye's when he was down, those tall thin guy's just like Hearns,Allen Green small head thin legs Martinez new and exposed him. :nut
oh god atsch not the old THAT PUNCH WOULDVE KOED ANYBODY again atsch Rubbish Williams dodgy egg shell cheen was noted by the chin checker leader long ago WAKE UP:good
I'm willing to bet anything you want that no one will recognize him as great ! Except for the clowns who actually agree with his way of thinking !
I dont recall Graham showing any signs of a weak chin leading up to the Jackson fight. And as I said the stoppages were late on in his career. As for Lewis yes he was knocked cold once by Rahman(who is no mug)and knocked down by Mccall again no idiot. He also shared the ring with some big hitters and never hit the deck,in fact they were the only 2 times he did.He took plenty of big shots.
