He should be huge since they have absolutely not much world representation after Football.

Theres nothing like a prizefighter representing a country. It trumps every sports because it stirs emotions like no other. MAn over man triumph.

Yeh I like it, especially for countries that are not well known for any other major sports eg Pac + Phillipines.

I have to disagree with you there, Argentina was always known for having some of the finest athlets in the world(tennis, golf, basketball, formula 1, soccer, boxing)

I dont think he is that big to be honest as he has spent most of his boxing career in spain.

He's not that big. In fact, I can't remember where I heard it, but Martinez was never really taken well in his homeland. I think this was touched up on by the HBO commentators in the Pavlik or first Williams fight. A large part of his career was spent in Spain.

Since the Williams fight was so easy, Martinez should take a quick title defense in Buenos Aires in the early 2011 to raise his stock at home.

I think Baldomir was bigger in Argentina. Sergio was born in Argentina, but I dont think he spent much time there.

    5'10.5"

The mountain air allows his spine to contract more slowly over the course of the day.
