this is why *******s are the most idiotic.. Martinez whole game plan was to land that shot. He knew he could land that shot and tried for it and was countering williams badly. No counter punch is a lucky shot. Martinez does not flail away power shots like say.... Uhhh who? *******s are just jealous of the attention. Like some ugly females.

Pac had moved up and was fighting Hatton @ Hattons weight.
Although Hatton had already been koed.

PW never had been koed before, or lost decisively in any fight.

Going against my vote and saying - Pacs was better (slightly)

I fancy Martinez's KO. More shocking, one punch KO on a counter shot coming outta nowhere instead off coming of a feint. Not to mention his opponent having a better chin. It's all personal preference in the end.

 

Pac, because Hatton was on the deck for a long time. He was carried and escorted to the hospital right away. He did not know where he was, while Williams was able to do his interview. May be I am being bias, but that's how I felt about it. Yeah, don't forget that he went on vacation and lost himself after the fight.

 

Martinez, and it is not even close at all! In Pac Hatton poor ole' Ricky was outclassed from the get go. From bell one everyone could see it was only a matter of time before he was goin to sleep.

PW at least had a competative round and clearly showed he could hang with him in the first fight. It was just that perfect of a punch. Theres no way Pac's was a better ko.

 

The way Williams was sparked by Martinez reminded me of Hearns doing his hit on Cuevas. The fashion Paul's body dropped makes Martinez KO better.

Hands down maravillas ko was something to admire.Watched it over 20 times in high def and surround sound and let me tell you from the time he lands it does not sound good.I seriously thought pwill was dead.Like one of the other posters stated "Martinez left coulda killed".

 

I agree Paul's face forward drop without his arms even reacting had a more gasping effect. But he looked alright not too log after that. Hatton's KO did not look so devastating in the camera angle that HBO showed. But when the cameras focused on his face when they tried to revive him, you can hear the cheers in the arena go away as they watch the big overhead monitor. I stopped cheering after that and really worried for Ricky's life as did everyone at the watch party I attended.
