Floyd was the cash cow when he forced JMM to fight at a totally unsuitable weight.

Oscar was the dumbarse who made himself fight at an unsuitable weight because he didn't think the public would buy a fight between himself and a guy who had only had one fight above 130, if the fight was made at 154.

That is the difference between Floyd and Pac in those respective fights. Floyd had control, Pac did not.

You should be certain that Oscar controlled everything at the time, so why would he be so stupid and inflict that on himself as it wasn't ever publicised and by then anyone who was going to buy the fight would have done so.

So no sales could be lost because people would be thinking a rehydrated Oscar up to 160 vs Pac was a mismatch.

I did say that the Clottey fight was a filler because Floyd chickened out, I also disputed the notion that Clottey didn't deserve to be in the same ring as Pac based on Clottey's previous performances.

Just because Holyfield does a once off, doesn't mean that the whole system is going to or must change because 13 years later Floyd's daddy has convinced him that Pac is a roided up boogey man.

A rehydration clause makes no sense as all the PPV and ticket sales are done before the unofficial weights on the night of the fight are released.

Please name the Ped that any fighter could use and benefit from, AND not be detected by OSDT up till 14 days before the fight and immediately after the fight?

If you think the Floyd Marquez fight was anything but a glorified tune up fight to try and gain Floyd a placing in P4P top 10 again your silly, I wouldnt really pay much attention if Floyd had beaten Marquez at 140lbs let alone a catcweight that he failed to make. Stupid, pointless matchup, i pity anyone who rates that highly.

Long story short, Floyd gets by on the merit of past achievements, it should have been him beating Williams not Martinez, it should have been him moving up in weight to take on the perils and dangers of a harder challenge. Instead he has been happy to make his money and cash in on past achievements, i would say we the fans have been robbed of many a great night, but i think the biggest loser in this is Floyd because he could've been one of the Greatest.
