Many feel Mayweather now needs to face either Pac or Martinez to not be called a ducker for the rest of his life? If he were forced to fight one of the two who would he pick and why? I would have lean towards the "money" fight for sure. But who knows... Your thoughts.

I think he would be equally reluctant to face either one, but maybe Pac because the risk/reward ratio is better. The reward is so much better... if he beats Martinez then people will say it's not because PBF is so great but because Sergio is overhyped. You won't hear that about Pac.

    Manny Pacquiao.
    I'd settle for Cotto @ 154lbs aswell.

This is an easy one. If he fights Martinez and gets beat (like he would btw) then he definitely didn't make that much $ off the fight, and about the only excuse he could have is HE WAS BIGGER THAN ME. If he wins I'd give him mad respect, but a lot of haters are gonna say Martinez was over rated.
IF he fights Pac, and loses he'd have walked off in to the sun set with 40 mil + (that's worth losing IMO). He wouldn't have an excuse for losing though. If he won he'd get even more respect than Martinez, and the only excuse haters would have is Pac was a little smaller than Mayweather.

Sad thing is...I'm typing this, and none of the **** is actually gonna happen. Floyd "greatest fighter that could of been" Mayweather.

He'd have an easier fight against Manny. Naturally smaller guy, albeit not by much and he fights beyond his weight class ability wise. A lot of people think Floyd can outbox him already.

Martinez would give Floyd a 6th weight class and I could be wrong but maybe his 4th lineal? Dunno off the top of my head how many lineals aside from WW and LW Floyd has held. He's also bigger and doesn't fight in a style that would play into Floyd's style quite as easily. But not NEARLY as much money could be made fighting Sergio.

Personally I think he'd pick Pac. And unlike many here I don't think Floyd is scared one bit about Pac... I think he's jealous... but not scared. As Max Kellerman put it last night at the opening of the broadcast, both May and Pac have been extremely well matched. To be honest if you really think about it, I think Floyd took the much riskier fights in search of his glory on the way up. Who can knock either of these guys? They have found their way to making big money in a sport where very very few do, and they have both been successful. How can you not respect that. All this posturing is ego, not fear.

But yea I'd have to agree he'll go for the money... and quite frankly i predict a frustrating fight for Pacquiao. I think Floyd is just too skilled. Has there ever been a lesser cleanly hit fighter who landed such a high % of their shots. Pac on the other hand is getting hit pretty good by some of these slow guys he's been facing.

I think people should realize there's a huge difference between foot speed/hand speed, and reaction speed. We all know Pac has fast hands and fast feet, but what I think Floyd has is fast, fine tuned reaction. I predict a fight a lot like Marquez. I think the more aggressive Pac tries to be with Floyd the more he plays into Floyd's hands. Freddy roach knows this. His instructions to Pac are going to be to "box" Floyd to break him down and hope to wear Floyd down and then turn it on later. Unfortunately I think Pac is going to get frustrated later in the fight from not hitting Floyd and getting man handled, not so much from a strength or physical sense, but from an experience and ring IQ sense. Hard to say until we see the fight.
I like both guys and really appreciate them both so it will be such an "educational" fight if you will for someone like me who really enjoys the dynamics of combat sports. I'm not "emotionally charged" by all the external bs that goes on with some "fans".

i will concede this though... there's several people I'd enjoy watching Pacquiao fight, but there's really only 2 people I'd care to see Floyd fight.

I think he will fight Martinez, because Martinez will take the blood test. Pacquiao acts like he has the ****in' T-Virus in his system.

Floyd is content to just talk **** on the sidelines like a *****...

But he should pic Pac. Martinez beats him. Pac vs Mayweather is a great matchup. Both stand to make a killin.

If Mayweather gets passed Pac, then he can think of Martinez, but I wouldn't expect him to do anything but talk more ****.

    It's his legacy...

He can do what he wants...

But if he's gonna talk ****, back it up.

Manny Pacquiao. More money and attention there, there's no fight out there at all that can bring the money a fight with Pac will bring, not to forget the attention and insane PPV numbers.
