I said I THINK he is, I have no strong opinion one way or the other. If they fight ten times, I think Williams wins the majority.

what the hell is this 'namsayin' crap?

Pavlik was never the same after Hopkins. Not a bad fighter, but hardly a dominant champ. Beating him is a good win, but not on the level, or anywhere close to the level, of beating JMM for example. Cintron? His problems are well known. A good but very beatable fighter. 'Most' people don't think he outpointed Williams in the first fight. It was a good fight, most people think the right guy won. Simple as that. Lucky punch? Kinda. It was a wild ass super wide hook that landed absolutely flush when he wasn't even looking to see where the punch landed, and neither was Williams.

Martinez is decent, but that's it. He's no ATG, he's no HOF'er, he's just a good fighter who landed in the right spot at the right time. Now we've got tards talking about him fighting RJJ and BHops.

I've been a big fan since the Bunema fight. The guy gives 110 percent every time and has never griped in defeat, even though he got f*cking robbed against Cintron worse than any robbery I've ever seen, and he didn't complain after the first Williams decision. The guy is all entertainment and class and has some formidable god-given gifts. And I say that having picked Williams to win it early. Sergio proved me very wrong.

Martinez is not good namsayin', he's great. He's a great fighter, the best 160lbs has to offer. He's beat Williams twice now...in the minds of most fans.

    Williams x2
    Pavlik
    Cintron

That's the guys last four fights.

He's a very good fighter alright, but not great. He's fighting dangerous fights every time though and I can really respect that.

Pavlik and Cintron = decent, hardly 'great', and him and Williams are 1 and 1. He's not a great middleweight. There are no great middleweights right now, that's why he's the champ. I think Dmitry Pirog is head and shoulders above Sergio at MW, and he's no RJJ or Hagler himself.

Def agree with this part. People who thought Martinez won point to the 119-110 scorecard. So, throw that out entirely and Williams still wins with 115-113 and 114-114. I hate how the people who thought Martinez won let their opinion known non-stop. Williams won a razor close fight. End of story. They are 1-1. I'd like a third match in 12-18 months if Williams does something worthy like defeat Pavlik or any of the top 10 154 pounders.

Just for the sake of letting it known, I have Martinez as my #3 P4P and Williams now as my #9 P4P.

Wow, I don't agree with that in the slightest sense. That makes you not credible on the subject, to be honest. Agree with most of what you've said, but you are way off base there, dude.

Martinez would beat both Klitschkos, but they're avoiding him by going after Haye

the middleweight division is stacked with huge talents like david lemiux, dmitry pirog, gennedy golovkin, n'jikam, andy lee, korobov. But sadly for them they aint american..

Pirog is a natural MW, hits harder and also has an unorthodox but more technical style. I would favor him against Sergio, but you're free to disagree. As far as it making me not 'credible'... lol shut the **** up.
