He didn't have the power to knock out Valuev who easily went the distance with him.

Peter being the more devastating puncher and Chambers the better skilled fighter. Ask your question in reverse. How is Ruiz (especially the version that fought Haye) better than Peter or Chambers. Based on what?

Stop changing the subject. You said Haye doesn't let his man back into the fight after he's hurt him. So how did Ruiz manage to get back into the fight after being knocked down in round 1?

Haye is one of the most overrated fighters in world boxing. He has fast hands and power yes but he is a flawed fighter. His chin is iffy, his defense is shocking, his stamina is poor, he has a low workrate and he is nowhere near the technical boxer or elusive fighter his fans would have us believe.

The Klitschkos have their faults too of course but both of them would be favourite to beat Haye and rightly so.

1.If Haye fights a Klit bro he will be punching a foot above his head again.

    2. In the HW division Haye has "destroyed" Barret, Ruiz and Harrison and fans complain about the KLitschko's opposition????

    3. Fast Eddie Chambers is just as quick as Haye see his fight with Derrick Rossy.

Of course Haye's got a chance but I think a very slim one :smoke

Is there anything in Haye you don't like or that could/should be improved?

Which is more important; Haye fighting against the bests or making money?

Why do you think that vast majority of professional boxing writers (outside GB) picks both brothers to win him?

Who do you want him to fight if not a Klitschko? Does Valuev 2, Holyfield or Rahman make any sense?

    - Did you by any chance watch the Valuev fight?

    - If that is not evidence of his elusiveness - then god knows what is?

    - Watch the first few seconds of the Ruiz fight - with Haye Against the ropes - and he weaved out of trouble.

    - And Finally, the second time Ruiz goes down - it is a full 24 seconds before the referee allows them to engage again. Ruiz was durable and 24 seconds for a durable man is enough.

The height difference for Haye vs Vitali is 4 inches. For Haye vs Valuev it was 9 inches. Not the same.

Eddie Chamber stands in one position and counters. Along with Haye's quick punches, his movement and reflexes are much better than Chambers and he would fare much better against a K bro partly because of this.

Those are good points :good However both Klitschko's are better skilled and hit harder than Valuev which is going to off set those advantages for Haye you pointed out. Hey I'm sure Haye's got a chance my money is still with either Klitschko Brother let's hope the fight will happen :good

    Lmfao are you serious?

If Haye can land on Wlad, which imo he will, he is getting knocked out, simple as that :deal

Anyone can be elusive against Valuev! That's a bad example.

The Ruiz fight is a good example of Haye getting hit too much by a fighter who really shouldn't be able to lay a glove on him.

So it's the referees fault that David couldn't finish Ruiz off until round 9? He dropped Ruiz 5 times in 3 separate rounds so what you said about him not letting a fighter back into the fight has been proved wrong.

    - I want him to fight both brothers - IMO - he beats Wladimir, but at the moment I can't see him getting past Vitali - but he has the attributes to do it at the same time.

I wasn't making a case for Haye beating a K bro based on the strengths displayed in his Valuev fight. Just that he'd pose more problems than a lot of their recent opponents.

I agree, I don't see Haye beating either one, especially Vitali, but I absolutely want to see this fight made:bbb
