Amateur, 27-5. Wasn't nearly active enough. Around 17 or 18 as I was graduating I realized that I didn't have the heart that these kids without opportunities had. Had about 3 smokers in Denver in 06-07 with Ron Lyle at 18, but then that was it.

I'm 23 now, and still wonder, but I wasn't driven. I want to train Muay Thai here soon.. Take some kicks, elbows, knees, and give some, but probably won't compete.

I was closest with Trevor and Verno, and later Ron Lyle for a short time. Trevor was such a nice guy. I was 12 when I met him, and he treated me so nice as I was one of the most advanced amateurs and youngest. He had just moved to Denver, and let me tag along and train and see the The Macho Man as he trained for his rematch with Duran.

Ive met Calzaghe, Lennox, Maccarinelli, Eubank and Fraudley.

They were all nice guys, except Audley. He was a ****ing clown. It was approx 8years back and he was attending some university boxing championship as the guest of honour :)rofl) and to present the winners with their trophies. He used it only as a platform to proclaim how he was the chosen one, how he would be back, how he would go on to be undisputed HW champion of the world, etc etc etc. Shameless attention *****, shouting his message in between bouts, and sometimes during. He had a hot bird too, which pissed me off no end. He saw me laughing at him and started talking to me, trying to convince me he was the real deal. I continued laughing.

Genaro Hernandez,Shane Mosley, Laila Ali, Rafael Ruelas, Mike Weaver. Many actually, just because I used to go to the Boxing Hall of Fame thing many years ago. Haven't gone for years now, but I used to go. I used to live in the area many years ago.

Def.. I trained Tae Kwon Do for almost four years before I began boxing in 99.. Was a good 5 years away from a black belt, which would have been extremely difficult. I'm very proud of that record, never stopped, but got my ass whipped weekly by older kids.

There aren't too many MT gyms here, but there is this one mixed martial arts academy in town that seems pretty good.. I want to check out the trainers in there someday.. I've wanted to take, in order to give, leg kicks so bad :!:

at first he did seem ind of offended, but what i told him was the truth which was that i could not find a black and white picture of him in any publication to add to my collage. i then told him that i even though not allot of people were picking him to beat trinidad i had a gut feeling that he was going to beat him based on punch resistance. this was about six weeks before the trinidad fight, after that he said thanks it is nice to see see that some people are rooting for me.

It is a lot of fun. You walk around a lobby and boxers walk right by you and you can get either a picture or autograph. Getting both is difficult sometimes. I got Oscar DelaHoya's autograph and gave it to my friend who liked him. There was a huge crowd around him so that was hard to get.

Met Ali at his training camp in Deer Lake back in the 70's...Joe Frazier in an elevator .
At the Boxing Hall of Fame Weekend in New York State....Ruben Olivares, Jeff Fenech, Mickey Ward, Earnie Shavers, Ron Lyle, Ken Norton, Gerry Cooney, Aaron Pryor, Alexis Arguello, Leon Spinks.
Ran into Rocky Lockridge at Newark airport back in the 80's just before Wilfredo Gomez fought Salvador Sanchez.Rocky told me Gomez would win, and then he'd beat Gomez.

DLH is one of my favorites.. I use to see the black and white ads in Ring magazine and dream about going 10 years ago. Alexis Arguello, another favorite, was shown in one of those ads, God rest his soul.

I know Arguello spoke English, but would someone like Tito Trinidad ever be at the HOF? I would also like to see some fighters like Arthur Abraham or a Froch there.. Hopefully in 10 years or so.

for those boxers you've seen personally, how accurate are the heights as officially listed? i've only seen donaire, from my estimate he barely makes 5'6.
