I mean, what can I say?

With his style of fighting this was bound to happen at some point. And I have always said the Martinez is just the guy to make it happen if anyone... based on his speed, timing, accuracy and underrated power. Which is the reason why I stayed rather low-profile with this one... Not that I didn't have confidence in my boy. I really thought the kid had a chance, being in the best shape of his career. But I also knew that his style was bound to catch up with him.

Based on my inbox messages, I know I'm about to hear a lot of ****... so have at it.

Guys lose. I'd rather see a guy go 1-1 in two competitive fights than go 2-0 in two fights against guys that are hopelessly outmatched. Williams' career isn't over. Go pick a solid fighter to fight next and beat him.

Always thought Williams was extremely overrated and that all "most feared man in boxing" mantle was bull**** with that being said he always comes to fight and doesnt duck anyone those things are rare nowadays.

And after the fight he showed nothing but class and didnt offer any excuses like most fighters do after a loss like that nahmsayin, i believe he still has a lot to give to the sport nahmsayin and from now on i'm gonna root for him.

PW isn't done by a long shot, but if he doesn't sharpen that defense up **** like that is gonna keep happening. I mean he got hit clean with that left hook so many times, and he didn't even make a simple adjustment like putting his right hand up to cover his chin.
If he works on his defense and actually fights tall instead of crashing in with a barrage of punches he would be near unbeatable

Giving a fan **** because his favorite fighter got stuffed is a joke.

Williams will be back, and he's dealt with the defeat in the best imaginable way, with dignity.

Wow, that's what you call keeping your head up high.

I don't really like Paul Williams but that was class, man.

It should be said that Khan dealt with his knockout defeat like a man, too.

Thats a great attitude to have and looks like he will be able to put this behind him and come back the same as he was, some fighters get affected longterm and some dont and come back stronger, interesting to see his next 2 fights

God damn. Sergio and Paul are the coolest dudes in boxing today alongside Pacquiao.
