He is a bit wacky, isn't he? I'm all for not being textbook if you can make it work though. He's definitely a technical weirdo. But, weird as he is, it's an athletic weird and it's fun as ****all for me to watch. The Bunema fight is a show.

Goto 154, maybe go for a crossroads fight with Margarito, get a trainer like Steward to help rebuild, try and fight Pac/Mayweather as he'd still be a stylistic problem for both.

There are no obvious fights out there for him though, no promotional umbrella, ie Arum, so he could be a while coming back

To be fair that was a very, very, very, loaded shot and would have KO'd a lot of guys.

He's like a really good looking dumber Jersey Joe Walcott.

I've convinced myself that my girlfriend just really likes the slick southpaw style. If Bute and Martinez really fight I want to watch it alone. :|

I also can't believe he's like what, 35? Imagine what he would have been like if he had started boxing at 10 instead of 20.

Even now, 15 years into his career, he shows signs of improvements. Not to mention he fought for years as an illegal immigrant in Spain with hand damage.

I still can't believe he knocked out Paul with one punch so early in the fight.

I see something special in him but I don't think he'll pass Monzon. Still, I much prefer to watch Martinez over Monzon and not just because I'm a fan. SM has the goods and I like watching him and how he moves. I don't like that he keeps his hands so low whether he's fast or not. Very entertaining fighter and I think his feinting may be underrated.

I think he keeps his hands in position when he needs them to be. I saw how he blocked well against Williams, watch that again.

He doesn't keep his hands low all of the time but it still bothers me. It's not just him either it bothers me when I see Pea do it but he would block well too.

When you have a sexy face, there's a very good reason for making sure it comes home looking good!
