More than 24 hours and my jaw still hasn't left the stretcher!

    Wow!

That's all I can say for the plentiest viewing of Martinez-Williams II some 24 hours after the Event. With some distance and less emotions, I can safely say this was the most shocking boxing moment I can remember since Tarver KO'd Jones in the same round, and I expected Martinez to win - but like this? A moment of magic, sweet science at it's best concentrated into a single shot executed with cold perfection and landed deadly on target, producing the shortest victory between prime P4P-ers since... well, for a very long time.

No doubt the shot goes down the history books and the hand writing it will feel the vibe as he puts the words on paper. Maybe there's a left hook from hell, but this chapter might very well go down as "Sergio Martinez and The Left Hook From Heaven"! Now where's my jaw?

Great usage of the quote button.

On Topic though, I'm with you, never though PWill would lose that way.
If Martinez won, I though it would be by decision or by a TKO, PWill being stopped on his feet.
PWill was pretty much a non stop moving punching machine , and then Martinez shut him off.

It came as complete shock to me, too. I knew Martinez was going to win, but not like that! As soon as I heard the loud bang from Martinez’s connection and Williams dropping to the floor, I was thinking “wtf, did that really just happen?!”.

An astonishing knockout. One of my favourite in recent memory. And it was also a relief to see Williams get back up straight away.

I came in stupidly drunk after a long night out with old friend. I laid down on my bed just as they was making their ring walks and was already fighting to keep my eyes open. I struggled to follow the first round due to my drunkeness, but once I saw Williams faceplant the canvass I just remember yelling "NO ****ING WAY!" - several times. I couldn't sleep for quite a while after that - I was buzzing. Tremendous and unexpected KO.

Must've rewound that **** about 100 times before going to sleep

Yeah, that interview was weird. I think he may have only been expecting to interview Martinez, and not Williams because when he turns to Paul he looks as though he is having to think of a question on the spot.

"Hi Paul, you don't normally get knocked out. Here's a video of you getting geeting sparked. See you around"

Also, I wonder if it is physically possible for Kellerman to interview a fighter and not try to arrange a fight between them and Mayweather or Pacquiao

Was a moment to be remembered. I was stunned to silence when it happened. Never thought I'd see Williams going down from one shot and staying down against Martinez.

Everyone knew he was never getting up from the way he went down. Martinez was climbing the ropes in the corner while the ref was still counting. Amazing shot

Even the doc was in to check Williams' health and the ref was still counting. He did a terrible job all night. Before the KO, he separated the two even though they were punching, then moved to the wrong direction and Martinez almost fell over him, the idiot looked embarassed and even said something like "a lot of holding" that could've distracted the fighters. When the KD came, he should've signaled with his hand and shout 'down' but didn't, and I think he missed the part where Williams hit the canvas face first. The biased commentary, Martinez being intruduced second and fighting out of the challenger's corner, the shock KO and the ref, what a surreal atmosphere.

Also, did anyone notice when the camera was panning away from Williams' laid-out body, Martinez jumps infront of the shot screaming in rapture :ibutt. Knockout aside, that was pretty funny. Reminded me of Breidis Prescott jumping around the ring, waving his arms like a mad-man after he flattened Khan .
