Williams was not exposed. He got caught with an amazing punch and taken out cold before the fight got started!
    Pavlik got beat down

How was Williams exposed? If we're talking of hype jobs then names like Jeff Lacy or Michael Grant come to my mind but not Williams who has a respectable resume and lost his last fight against a tremendous fighter who caught him flush - it just happens in boxing. He was competitive in their first bout and also in round 1 & 2 of their second clash. The early KTFO is misleading when it comes to judging his boxing skills.

I'm surprised how many voted for Pavlik. At least he claimed a legitimate title at Middleweight with his victory over Taylor. And now people are seeing Martinez is no joke. At least Pavlik was still standing at the end of his fight with Martinez.

What has Williams EVER done to deserve the hype he has received? He never really established himself at any weight.

Cotto's success has more to do with his promoter than his superior abilities...

Those two guys have been hovering around the same weight class for years now, and only one of them have actively pursued a fight against the other.:deal

 It's the promoters! Oh!:lol::lol: ...:rofl Well, to quote the great NBA once upon a time "It's a camera bag, ho." Make of that what you will. After all, you're the one who said it.

They talked about Pavlik as the second coming of Thomas Hearns. Actually Paul Williams was talked about as the second coming of Hearns also. Neither guy was. But Pavlik was more hyped up.

There's only one Hit man. Except for Hatton and some other dudes who decided to take that name. But, no. There's only one real one.

Ricky Hatton and Jeff Harding tried to be the hit man, but it wasn't the same. They were far from Thomas Hearns.
