DiBella contradicted himself on the scene of boxings interview. He claims Martinez moved to 160 because there were no fights @ 154 and that 154 is his weight division. Yet why is Martinez saying something about a 156 catchweight against Mayweather. So either

    1)Martinez can't make 154 anymore and is a 160 fighter
    2)DiBella is lying

The difference is that Pac has already fought someone 17 lbs. heavier than him. Will Martinez even consider fighting anyone at cruiserweight?

    Common sense!:hi:

Because he won't agree to a catch weight.

The louder the groundswell gets for Pac to fight Martinez, I can't help but think of the DENNIS THE MENACE cartoon, of Dennis shaking his father out of a lounger: "GET UP! You have to fight Billy's father with one hand tied behind your back"

Martinez is big, in great shape, hits hard and is very quick and active.

I think he would be too much for Pac.

    Because 5'10, 158 > 5'6, 144

Will Pac defend his fake 154 title at 154?

YEs he can. Only against limited opposition though. I guarantee you he defends it against JCC Jr. if he gets by Cotto.

Guaranteed you wouldn't be talking like this if it weren't Pac. You are hater and that's it. Had it been someone else, you would be saying he's too small.

HW is different thing. Things like power and chin tend to plateau MORE at those weights. Guys that are 210-215 and are comfortable at those weights can knock guys out that are 240, 250 and take their punches too. Nothing new.

If you think that's the same as Calderon fighting Pac at 140 because the weight difference is the same then I can't help but laugh.

This isn't a cartoon or anime, this is real life. Size matters, specially when Martinez is not a slow, lumbering guy either.

Well I have Pac down as a natural 140lber, you want him to fight at 160lb. Thats 3 weight divisions above.

Why dont we just have Martinez challenging the CW champion of the world then? Or Juan Ma Lopez challenging Tim Bradley. Or JMM challenging Floyd May...oh wait....

So in other words, Pac should only take fights with bigger guys who have no skills?

I thought the point was to fight the best, even if you choose to move up. :smoke

Margo is a career WW and made 150lb comfortably. Tell Martinez to make 150 and the fight is on, otherwise stfu. Hey, why not get Floyd to fight Andre Ward.
