    Yeah, that's not really fair.

But to defend his 154lbs belt vs. the fighter who vacated it previously isn't too much to ask. On one hand Pac's an 8 division champion, but on the other hand, he shouldn't fight Martinez at 154 because he's too big? Can't have it both ways. If not Mayweather, then Maravilla at 154 is Pac's best option.

Pacman has done so much people want more from him. There are guys to fight at welt. Mayweather should be ashamed of himself if he does not fight Pacman.

Listen ***git its a reflection of the pathetic state of affairs boxing is in at the moment. There ARE no decent challengers for Pacman below Martinez, other than Pussyweatha

Who do you propose he fights instead?

    Exactly. So STFU and GTFO

The fight was and is never going to happen anyways. The whole idea of it is just stupid on everyone's part. Taking it seriously and leveling it as a critique is just ridiculous

Agreed, people wont appreciate pacquiao fully until he retires and 10 years pass.

    Unfortunately you're right.

This is the worse Era of boxing. And fighters like Mayweather and Pacquiao are the benefactors.

If these two fighters fought in the 80's or 90's they probably be decent champs but not necessarily ATGs.

I think what pisses people off, is that for all the priase he gets, he never fights the BEST in each division he "supposedly" conquers.

Now, how can you say he conquered a division, when you don't fight the BEST.

this is what i was thinking....i mean SM is at Middleweight people....the only way they could fight is a Catchweight but like Pac said not above 150 and Sergio not below 154...this fight just can't happen it's not supposed to happen anyway i dont think anyone gives neither shyt about this not happening......its probaly better if it doesnt happen they're just too far apart.

Then he can fight at 140 then. Martinez is the MIDDLEWEIGHT champion.

Just because Pac fought Margarito doesnt make him obligated to fight Junior middleweights and middlweights.

Roach and everyone else on his team has said that there is a limit to how big his opponents can be, and anyone with any shred of boxing logic knows that a fighter, no matter how good he is, cannot safely fight opponents who are upwards of 20 pounds heavier 3 weight classes above their natural weight.

yes he kicked margarito's ass, but it was obvious that Margarito could hurt Pac more so than anyone else he had faced, and the size and strength disparity was obvious.

Moving up to a bigger opponent is neither sane nor safe no sensical.

The irony of Pacquiao being continually called on to lose when he moved up to 135, then 140, then 147, then 154.

And now its reversed and you have dumbasses saying he's "ducking" Martinez, who were the same people that swore he'd get his ass kicked by Diaz and Hatton and DLH and Quartey

What?? The fight with Margo was a challenging fight but it was a money fight. Has nothing to do with "honor" of defending the 154 belt.

Pac has challenged himself enough, he has nothing to prove within his peers in boxing. Hes got all the respect he needs even Sergios.
