Exactly. I don't give a **** how great fighters like Pacman and Floyd look vs opposition after a while even their own fans are going to saying "Ok, enough is enough." People except the fanboys know in order to be great fighters have to test themselves vs other greats. And that formula is never going to change. IMO Martinez-Williams II is the most significant FOTY. I know people even his own fans are coming up with the excuses about his defense as his achilles heel, but the fact is I don't think neither Floyd nor Manny will be able to replicate what Martinez did. Williams is a fighter with the old school mentality and I still think he can upset fighters of Sergio's, Manny's, and Floyd's caliber. He just throws too many punches and takes a gamble. If you notice Williams only tends to get outboxed by other southpaws that tend to be quick, slick, and with some power. Quintana in his prime was a hard punching southpaw and now Martinez is one of the if not the most powerful puncher south of 160. Absolutely no shame in losing and I wouldn't shortchange Williams just yet. Absolutely pathetic some of the stuff I have read in different sites some of his own fans sayin about their boy.
