This thread is for neutral fans that Admire the skills of both men, but understand that both fighters have been taken cared of a little to much to put them into stardom... Mayweather might have more skills but thinks a lot is a genius in the ring and is a defensive mided fighter, but Pacquiao has more guts and is the offensive fighter with great movement, good speed, angles, power to go with that speed. Pacfan and FLoyd fans chime in on whose wins were much better and who actually brought more competition to the STAR WHO HAS been TAKEN CARED OF MORE??? PAC facing Fighters like Cotto, Hatton, ODLH, CLottey, Margarito... Fights that put him into the Star Light. MAYWEATHER> Corrales, Castillo, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, ODLH, Mosely fights that made him into the cash cow. NOW WE CANNOT just go by names... We have to see where exactly their opponents were in their career when each STAR faced them... Mayweather PAC facing Hatton.. Hatton was undefeated when May faced him, Pac faced him after a feather fisted May knocked out Hatton. ODLH.. May went up to ODLH weight class of 154 and faced him where ODLH was comfortable.. ODLH dictated all the rules... PAC faced ODLH at an UBELIABABLE weight of 145 and ODLH was definitely passed his best. So who has been protected more by their camps and promoters?
how dare you use the word " hype " in the same sentence with Mayweather or Pacquiao. Im not voting on this Pissant poll.
I don't deny there skills.. I used the word HYPE to say who has been protected more.... Yes they are definitely two of the best of this generation.. But who has been protected more into that category?
So you think at least 1 of the 2 greatest fighters of our generation is a hype job? Log off and start watching MMA. Better yet, start watching desperate housewives, you might find that more suited to your needs
well its hard to say really but im going to say Pac because if you look at the versatility in styles in Pac and Floyd's opponents......floyd has faced a wider range of fighters.....and to me Manny is being matched well. NOW....with that said the fighters he is facing are still solid comp.
