I think Booth's reluctance to fight VK first might be an idication of how confident they are in beating VK, the fact that they want to wait till he gets a little older before taking him on, meaning any potential win, would be diminished somewhat by his deteriorating body due to age, that right there says it all about their faith in Haye's ability imo.

He says we aren't making any demands to Boente about a potential fight, but when I come to speak to you, it will be about a fight with Wlad?

Wouldn't you, if your were a true champ, want to take VK now!, so you get full credit for the win?

I think it just shows what Haye is all about, the money!, of coarse no one begrudges any fighter a payday, but this guy has just extorted money out of the public with the Harrison fight, was supposed to of already fought a Klit after talking his way into a fight.

How so? He didn't say it was going to be competitive, in fact it was the opposite. If anything it was Harrison and the gullible nature of the public.

Vitali couldnt even land a single right hand on Kingpin Johnson in 12 rounds. he hasnt ko´d anyone in ages and starts bleeding like a virgine once he gets hit
Hes is a washed up guy. Why would Haye be scared of him compared to Wlad whos in his prime, much faster proper defense and probably the hardest puncher in the sport today?

For even taking the fight when there were a whole host of challengers out there he could of fought, ones with actual credentials on the world stage.

You should put that question to Booth, as he apparently does not see what you see.

At this moment, VK would run through Haye like wet paper, Booth knows this.

I see your point but I don't understand why people bought into the fight. If they knew who Harrison was they surely knew the kind of flop he is. It doesn't make sense. It never promised to be a good fight, that's how Sky and Harrison built it up to be. It was as easy and one sided as everyone who didn't get caught up in the hype thought it would be.

Isn't the point though, he was not taking advantage of the Boxing public, he was taking advantage of the general public, now because this is a niche sport in Britain, people are more inclined to buy into the numerous hype shows, interviews on Skysports, inspite of already being aware of what a flop Harrison is.

But that surely has to do more with Sky's marketing campaign and Audley's persuasiveness. A lot of the public bought it to see Audley I mean just look at how many people watched the prizefighter he was involved in. Audley Harrison was the one who extorted the public and he was the one who disappointed everyone, not Haye.

Nah Booth knows Wlad has a fight set and Vitali would sign tomorrow. After the Ruiz fight it was the other way around and Booth acted the other way around as well. Hes buying time to get Harrison out of ppl mind and to figure out the next chapter of that duckjob and if that story ever ends with Klit vs Haye fight, Hayes opponent will be Vitali because hes faded and the weaker Klit. Booth knows that very well. no doubt.

They should all shoulder a portion of the blame.

Haye is a world champion, yet he wants to defend his title against barely Euro class fighters, rather than take on someone like Thompson, Arreola, Chambers, Solis, Povetkin, Adamek etc?

Dont try and lay all this at Harrison's feet, Haye should not of been fighting him in the first! place, I think its sickening the way everyone has jumped on Harrison's case and have let Haye slip under the radar.

Of course no one wanted Audley as an opponent and a lot of people were disappointed but it was Audley who made the fight a no contest. He got alot of the blame because he deserved it. Haye backed up what he said in regards to the fight, Audley didn't. It would have been acceptable if he tried, but he didn't. Simple as that.

Adamek would've only had 2 months to prepare for the Haye fight so that wasn't an option at the time, what has Solis done to constitute a fight with Haye? He's only had 16 fight ffs. Arreola? he just got beat twice. Chambers? got knocked out by Wlad. Povetkin has a case but i'm not sure if he had a fight lined up. Thompson isn't good enough and is not a high rewards either.

Fact of the matter, there wasn't a lot of opponents around. Apart from klits.

They just realise that Vitali is the better of the two so it makes more sense to fight Wlad first.

The fact that Haye has been doing everything possible to avoid BOTH of them suggest his confidence in beating both of them. When he fights one he will be considering it his cash out. If he wins, he'll consider it a bonus and get another pay day out of it that he didn't bank on.

Of coarse Haye backed it up, he wasn't fighting a world class fighter, lets see if he could be so precise with his prediction against a world class contender/champion. I cant believe you would lay all the blame at the feet of Harrison, and excuse Haye.

What a load of excuses, either one of those guys would of enhanced Haye's reputation more than Harrison.

Haye is not a HW champion, never will be, cause he does not fight for respect, he fights for money, he is nothing more than an opportunist.

Don't Sauerland have rights over him for one more fight?
