Yeah a betting underdog, real fans of Pacquiao knew DLH was getting his ass handed too him in that fight, but the thing is your exposed because Freddie Roach was the one who knew all along DLH was shot and would be nothing at 147lbs, he knew all along and your just watching his perfect "gameplan".

Don't really need to man, Freddie Roach knew all along....... DLH was cherry picked by Roach, Roach his former trianer knew the guy would be boiled coming down to 147lbs.

What part of "No one knew Oscar was coming in as a Zombie" don't you understand.

You're acting like you've been following boxing for 6 months.

Seriously, if everyone would have known that Oscar would need IV to re-hydrate, I doubt he'd be the favorite.

It's not Pac's fault, but REALITY is Oscar was a shell of what he once was.

Credit is given when a fighter beats a game fighter.

I give Pac more credit for his win against Fashan 3K Battery than against Oscar.

The best moment from that fight was by announcer Jim Lampley. "People said, why on earth did Pacquiao agree to this fight? Now, people are thinking why on earth did Oscar agree to this fight?"

I have to say I thought Oscar might be a little less than perfect but I assumed it would be more than enough to deal with a little guy like Pac. I was wrong. I thought he would win every fight since EXCEPT the Cotto one - I can't believe he was a favorite. Cotto is a great fighter and there was no promise that Pac would have had the power to crack that chin. Barrera I and Cotto really are Pac's best wins - Cotto does have the power to end a fight at any given second and had been fairly sturdy at welter, with great timing and the savvy to be in the ring with Mosley and look in control for a lot of the fight. The fight with Margarito changed NONE of that.

Please dude what does it matter what fans thought or Jim Lampley.....Roach knew!!! Roach cherry picked him!! He was his former trainer.. he knew DLH's problem, he said DLH couldn't pull the trigger, he saw the IV drip when they touched gloves and told Pac to light his ass up ....c'mon!!

Yes, and I admit Oscar is probably his least impressive welter performance in retrospect because of Oscar's condition, but that is the only win there I am willing to say was a significantly faded opponent. Cotto, Clottey, and Margarito all knew what to expect and were prepared for Pac, it just did not matter.

    I don't blame PAC I like PAC...

I just hate that ARUM is a greedy **** and roach hand picks the best fights that are BIG MONEY less RISK for PAC.... I mean its all about money..

Not about fighting the best competition..

Best competition is for prospects but when your ELITE like PAC and MAY its all about $$$ not about pleasing fans.

    and thats sad..

Thats why I appreciate fighters like Martinez taking on Pav and Williams...

The thing about that, Sergio taking on Pav and Williams, is he didn't have the options Superstars usually have.

BTW, the one guy both Roach and Arum wants, is the one holding up this fight. PAc can opnly fight who's avialable.

I think he should, if he can make 135 he should go for it.

I don't care though. I only want to see Pac fight Mayweather in all of these scenarios.

"If" being the key word here. I don't know if he can go down that low effectively anymore.

I doubt JMM would turn down a 142 lb catchweight. Pac can still make 142.

Fact is this guy is ducking another "great" fighter who is as skilled and as fast willing to fight at 154lbs the weight class in which Pacquiao is the champion and he is ducking him. People need to wise up and take top 15 ATG out there ****ing mouths when referring to Pacquiao.

 To be fair Uli.....PAC wouldn't get credit for ANYTHING he's done for some folks. I think that includes you. Most give PAC his dues simply b/c it's logical. He's put in the work, he's taken on all of the best and he does it consistantly. Operating at this level with the continuity Manny has exhibited only strengthens his legacy, but everyone knows with success comes critics.

I give Pac credit for being one of the best fighters of this era....All I'm doing is showing what careful managing and promotion can do for a fighters image.

    :good

That said, will he defend his 154 belt at 154?

The Thread title is deceiving no one is calling him a duck everyone is just wondering if you call yourself a champ.. why not defend it against someone that said they would come in at 154 and the real champ of 154 before he left for 160 this year... which is what LOU said.. he is the promoter...

Sergio is just somone *******S want, and others called them on it.. Now They say we call ducks when they where the first to want the fight. All these big weak opponents have given these *******s to much hope.

Anyways its all BS i don't care I just want the may fight...then JMM, then Berto, then the 140 pound lions in that order.

If they get mosely I am gonna be very disspaoint.
