Because we all know these numbers will play a part in the negotiations for a fight with Mayweather, as they do in any fight negotiations.

With all the hype, I dare say together they might top 3.5 million PPV buys.

Who knows, it could even go higher...

As I'm sure you have been following the issues with the negotiations so far, I dont need to fully explain the impact of the PPV numbers on the chance of the fight being made.

    It's fairly obvious, really.

How long does it usually take for numbers to come out? I'm starting to think bob and emmanuel put a gag order on HBO. There's no way they could AZZk Floyd for 50% if they only sold like 900K!

It usually is out by the end of the week after the fight. Arum said he would have the numbers by Thursday of last week, but then announced nothing.

Instead we get all of these statements over at "the scene" with him talking about every future possible Pac opponent, other than Floyd.

He also says he needs the number of the rep to speak for Floyd. I guess he forgot the phone numbers of Al Hayman, Richard Schaefer, or Leonard Ellerbe.

Oh please....if EITHER side, Manny or Floyd, go for something other than 50-50, it's a duck, a price out, or whatever you want to call it. Although, if Floyd asks for 55-45 or 60-40, I'm sure you'll call it GOOD BUSINESS.

:patsch You Floyd fanatics are funny....you care about these numbers STRICTLY for Floyd's benefit. You cannot hide that.

Who gives a **** when exactly they come out. You think a fight will be made within the next 6 months between Floyd and Pac? Guess again.

I wish they would do 50/50 to get the fight done, but, according to Arum, Pacman is the more popular fighter.

If the numbers are high enough, it may be he who demands the higher split for PAC...
