As required by the WBC in its regulations, boxers Jean Pascal and Bernard Hopkins face off on December 18 at the Pepsi Coliseum in Quebec City for the Diamond Belt, were loaned to the weigh of 30 days. They should comply with the maximum weight of 193 lbs and the two men made the weight easily. In Miami under the supervision of Dr. Francisco Gonzales, Jean Pascal tips the scales at 188 lbs. As for Bernard Hopkins, he has a weight of 181 lbs. Note that the two men will have to weigh a new security seven days before the fight, on 11 December.

so looks like going into the fight pascal will be the stronger man, and faster(my opinion atleast)......

the clock is ticking so fast with bernard know i'm really not interested in this fight.

i'll be astounded if he can win because each passing month at his age is a long, long time.

If anyone can, Hopkins can. But one day he won't. I think that day will be the day he fights Pascal.

Not even God can help Hopkins.
Not saying it in a bad way. Just the way it is.

^ hahah i recall naseem hamed wanted to introduce some diamond belt at one stage.

Who really pays attention to belts now? Its about defeating elite opponents or having a good run..

Diamond belt? What nexts? A Gold, Silver or Bronze belt?

Get real FFS! This is for the Linear LHW championship of the world!

Hopkins is a freak, man is nearly 46 years of age & he's only 6lbs off the LHW limit! He will be in better shape at 70 than Arreola is in now!

I favour Pascal, but I hope Hopkins pulls this off. If he does, he should then retire! His legacy is already secure & a win over Pascal would only enhance such a legacy!

Did you guys see the clay statue the WBC handed to the Cowboys owner Jerry Jones at the Pacquiao/Marg weigh-in? I mean that thing looked like something a kindergarten class made. Just unreal.

People talk about pacman having balls, b-hop is like 45 and fighting fighters strong fit and in there prime, not to mention being very talented.

I think b-hop will loose UD if not by TKO, i know b-hop never been ko'd but this is getting ridiculous, b-hop is 45.
