Will Amir Khan stop Maidana?

No, he won't.

He would have to go into and stay in the danger zone for quite a while in order to land enough to stop Maidana. Maidana recovers fast (see Ortiz) so Khan would have to be prepared to eat 3 or 4 of those bomb right hands in order to put Maidana down.

Khan wide (near shutout) UD or Maidana vicious KO are the only two realistic outcomes for this one.

I don't think so.

It's not impossible though, with Khan's offense being as good as it is.

If he fights scared then he won't get the job done.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if Amir got a stoppage even in the first half of the fight. Maidana's whiskers are not the most sturdy and he's easy to hit. I don't think Khan will commit enough though, more likely a decision winning almost every round.

Depends how he fights. He could be cautious and stay on the outside, happy to take it to points, but if he's a bit more aggressive he could do it. Being aggressive could well get him starched though. I think he might take him out mid to late rounds
