    Come on man, Youre really gonna bash on someone who picked Margarito to beat Mosley at the time? That would be the majority of boxing. Mosley hadnt looked impressive in a grip and had just got fustrated and stupid looking against a shot mayorga.... Its hardly shameful to not think that with Margaritos activity, stamina, and chin, that he would have won a competetive decision against an aging and sputtering mosley.

    It's unlike Arum to be so quiet about these numbers? I guess they didn't do the 1.5m ppv buys that was said last week.

    Oh please. You have hated Mayweather for years, and people who have been posting for that long know it as fact.

    I'f I am a Floyd fanatic because I recognize the man's talent, then so be it. Then that makes you a Margacheato Apologist, and we can settle it at that.

    Thats if it doesn't do well, And the common opponent thing doesn't matter now, that's in the past ... we are talking about who is the star now. Things change, the economy ... promoting ... many things. Right now, Pacquiao is the one on 60 minutes... he's the one everyone is talking about. He's the worldwide star, the fighter who gives the fans what they want. Mayweather is seen as a joke by everyone except joyboys like yourself, who sit there and try to defend his actions. All that talent, and all he does is prance around like a teenager and brag about money and pointless ****.

    The boxing community bought into the hype, which I did not. My reasoning was simple: How many people have beaten Shane by just walking through all of his power shots, defense be damned, and attemtped to "wear him down" with wide, looping shots that could be seen from a mile away?NONE! Because that is not the way to beat him (his losses reflect this perfectly). To beat him you need a strong jab, some decent footwork, and accurate punching, something that MArgo lacks in all areas.

    You didn't pick Shane to destroy Margarito, you said UD and that it would be a tuff fight.. The thing is , no one expected the fight to come out like it did. The complete annihilation of AM. Margarito lost that fight before he got into the ring, if a fighter is gone mentally , he will never win in a big fight like that.. He knew what had just happened, he knew he got busted.

    I said I thought of picking him to get KO'ed, but I backed off, as he had shown a solid beard in the past (which is really his best attribute).

    So, you are saying, if he had not been caught cheating, he would have performed better??

    That cant be used as an excuse (especially for a guy who says he knew nothing about the cheating).

    You just don't understand that sort of competitive situation ... Mentally if you are lost, you will never win. You ever play any sports? Or just talk about them?

    Of course Margarito would have done better if he didn't get caught cheating, look at this face entering the ring.. He was out of it, very preoccupied.

    Not saying he would have won, but just would have done better.

    :lol: I recognize his talent too genuis. I guess I'm just as big a fan as you are! Actualy, I would guess I was a fan of his before you got INTO Mayweather. Straigh toutta the Olympics, and I was posting about him when VERY few were.

    And sorry *******, I never made excuses for Margarito's wraps. THAT is what an apologist would do. When you claim **** like that, it just shows you have no clue what posters say. You're basically just saying anything you think will be an insult. Not even trying...
