AA by brutal ko or Froch by a career ending beatdown. It really is a case of who's chin gives in first, to be honest.
Kenny Anderson's coach said on here that Kenny's ribs were still sore from the Froch sparring so I think you're safe to assume he'll be banging the drum.
I can see Froch unsettling AA with body shots. AA will start moaning to the ref and whilst he's faffing with his shorts Froch drops him with a big shot to the head. I can see this fight ending in controversy....
Arthur by KO and this will be a short fight. I was thinking it will go to 7th round but now I think it wont go more then 5. Cant wait this will be the fight of the year and hope to see a good KO there.
Froch's latest tweet 3 hours ago. " Just had a great workout. Felt super sharp. Last time i felt this good was before the Pascal fight"
I'm taking Froch. Underdog, don't see why, not as if AA is realistically likely to outbox and outpoint him. Pascal like performance takes this. For all the shite AA talks about starting faster, he won't. Bank on it. It's impossible for him to have the energy to throw more punches when he lifts his whole body off the floor to throw one. He puts the kitchen sink into them. That's why he can't, its not for fun. Froch just needs to get out that jab and bank a few so he's got the strength later on when Abraham comes out to play. I think he's going to be more difficult for Abraham to land a clean punch than imagined because of his height and the way Abraham is unable to counterpunch effectively with the earmuffs on. Definitely that chance Froch gets iced but if he gets the jab going and bodywork in the bank its his to lose.
I have gone Froch over the distance. He should bag the early rounds as it always takes AA 3 to wake up. Hopefully there will be a few wars in the middle rounds going either way, with Froch and his superior conditioning (he genuinely is making the right sounds about his training this time imo) seeing out the last few. I hope it is as good as i think it will be, been looking forward to this for ages!
AA plans for a quicker start in this fight. any chance this could throw froch off his game plan :think
Possibly, but it can work both ways when you do something you're not quite accustomed to, as Gary Sykes showed the other night.
Starting fast doesn't always mean a good thing, just like when fighters pull it out bag late on, you just can't turn things on and off like a tap. He's at world class level now and as TFFP says he punches with power there's no set up shots or tipper taps with AA it's bombs.
AA just went on facebook and said "Training not going too well, so I'm going to have a few beers and get a kebab. I really can't be arsed any more" Hmm....
