In that case what was the ****ing point in the margarito fight for the 154 wbc belt?

When the guy is on the slide, been destroyed already and isnt on pacs level, then size doesnt matter, they dont mind fighting him. Oh but when its a good fighter who isnt shot or flat footed or clearly on the road to a beating, then size becomes an issue again how convenient

maybe because pacs walking round calling himself the WBC jr middleweight champ! Pac needs to fight martinez at 154 end of story, or its a duck. Same goes for floyd, he needs to do something aswel

Why should he fight Martinez? He just beat the guy that beat Martinez. Isn't that how it works in Floyd's world of mythical match-ups? Why are all the Floyd fans wanting Paq. to fight Martinez , and not Mayweather? I don't think Paq. will fight at that weight again. That was a one time deal for a belt. He ( Paq.) needs to stay between 140 and 147.

Apparently, some assholes would like to think they know more about Sergio than the man himself.

Martinez said he could do 156lbs (MW) not 154lbs. So now Paq.'s next fight has to be another weight class again? Without a tune -up, and has to fight the champ? Or he is ducking. What other fighter out there today is moving up in weight and fighting these kind of fights? And people keep wanting more. Every fighter has a limit.

Well Freddy Roach said on 24/7 about margarito...'one day there will be a time when we are not big enough, but this is not it'.

So...sergio and plasterito are similar in size. So whats the problem?

Its because Sergio has a chance and Margo didnt. Thats why

For me there is no question about how dangerous martinez is. He is a great fighter with good movement. He would be around 20 pounds heavier fight night. So what you are saying ,is because Paq. fought one fighter alot bigger than him , all of his fights have to be against fighters bigger than him? I still have not seen where Martinez said he would come down a division to fight Paq.

Skill and size make this a huge risk for Pac. But, Martinez's SKILL makes his size seem much more daunting than it really is. He's the about the same size as Margarito. He just has the SKILL to fight in the higher divisions. Pavlik was much bigger than him. He won that fight on SKILL.

that was 10 years ago, martinez was learning his craft, just about the same time, that pac was getting koed by journymen and hussein.

What do you think is going to happen if you skilled big guy fights Manny? In a sense it wont be fair because not only does he share a size advantage, but he is also quick and has skill as well...

With Marg he had to size but nothing else so there was a trade off...
