Its mainly British journalism, not like the throw away "Brits love Haye"comment from the thread starter.I`m not convinced about "fixmaker"Haye as his last fight more or less was.

If you're sick of the British press then do what I do and dont read it you ****ing morons.

Do I follow and support Haye because he's British yes, that and he's an exiciting fighter to watch. Would I have payed for the Harrison fight no ****ing way, I knew exactly how it was going to go down.

If you have watched Harrision at all in his career you would of already knew he was a fraud. I think some people bought it to watch him get whooped to be honest.

The Klits are boring as hell, thats a simple fact. If Haye was to fight either the draw would simply be for Haye. Its a fight Id definately pay for, in an ideal world it would be 50-50 down the middle.

But Haye has a point why should he give money away when the people are paying basically to see him.

Put Klit v chisora on ppv in Britain and see how many buys he gets.

I was never ever even thinking of paying 15 quid for the Fraudley v Haye farce.Haye who was promoting this did his pal a favour, gave him a title shot, they both played out the hate routine to sell the "fight".Then Haye bets on the 3 rd stoppage on the fight he was promoting then straight after was sweet as pie again to Audley in post fight interviews.Haye is a bullshitter.Unfortunately a lot of British fans got conned,by both of them. They are both a disgrace really.

    Question...

Since anyone with a brain should realise that revenue will be generated by more than just the UK and German TV deals, does anyone know what the actual figures are?

Boxers sell their fights to TV stations worldwide. I have heard that the Klits sell their fights to dozens of other countries.

What are all the sources of revenue for the fights, and how much are they?

    We have:
    UK PPV
    German TV
    Worldwide PPV/TV deals
    The gate

Can anyone bring some facts into this debate?

Haye broke two contracts with Klitschkos already, one signed on one implied. Haye has been caught lying more than once. He is a coward!

i'm glad i didn't waste my money on that fight. i actually bought the hype a little bit. but take away all the hype and what do you have? harrison and haye. there can only be one possible outcome. haye has got to fight a klitschko next or he will always be remembered as a chicken

Everyone has to be fed up with David Haye right now. Even his biggest fans have to be seriously pissed off that they keep having to defend his garbage. However, they are in too deep now to admit that he completely suckered all of them into believing he was the "savior" of the heavyweight division. Really.... THIS is what the Heavyweight Division needed? The division needed a guy to hype up the public about a big showdown with the Klitschkos and cleaning out the division... fighting a tune up.... dodging the Klitschkos.... signing to fight the Wlad.... backing out of the fight with fake injury (that his fans actually defend him for).... taking a fight against a paper champ that was given the belt after losing it in the ring.... won in a HORRIBLE fight and many thought he lost... refuses to fight Klitschkos... refuses any decent fight... fight ****in Harrison... now refuses to fight Chagaev and still isn't fighting the Klitschkos... won't even accept 50/50. Yeah... the Heavyweight division really needed this.

To be honest, its clear this happens everywhere.

For starters, I remember HBO going ****ing crazy over Devon Alexander, everyone saying he was the next big thing, before he beat (was beaten by) Andreas Kotelnik.

Then theres Daniel Jacobs, Jeff Lacy, many other average US fighters who have been beaten despite unjustifiably large hyping.

Cant also forget the best American pound for pound star is currently on vacation and is a massive *****.

All in all, I think its clear its the same everywhere. I can assure you if you come to the UK you wont enter through a time warp that takes you to an age where everyone believes the press because they cant formulate opinions themselves.

I think it has less to do with us not knowing what we are paying for and more to do with there is **** all boxing on TV over here.

I bought it because it was live boxing, and involved one of the few champions our countries actually have.

Either way, fantastic generalisation there, you seem to be a top guy!

I am trying to take some of those delusional Haye fans to school in the comments but they just don't have a clue. Not sure why I am making the effort, really. One of them just said it is "quite likely" that Chisora will KO Wlad.

The UK is in love with Haye? I'm so fed up of this ill informed uneducated bull****.

Let me spell it out for you clownshoes out there who are actually gullible enough to believe this crap.

I come from a large family who are casual boxing fans. I also keep in touch with dozens of friends from my amatuer days, NOT ONE believes Haye is a fantastic boxer or saviour of the heavyweight division.
I'll go further, I work offshore and mix with fans from all walks of life. Platform to platform it's the same story, "damn I wish Lewis was back".

You guys who actually believe this **** and tar the country with the same brush are beyond educating.

You do realise people who follow the sport know the score yeah?
