Martinez: "Making weight shouldn't be a problem. It's going to cost me to make because I have so much mass muscle after three fights at middleweight, but that's something I have to take one day at a time based on offers. Once I'm 100% then I'll start worrying about the weight."

How many percent does you think Martinez chance to beat Mayweather? I don't know but when i watch his fight with Williams. I don't think he gonna beat Mayweather at 154lbs. Care to share your knowledge about this match up.Cheers:bbb

i think he has a good chance, just due to his mobile style, and being a south paw (not that SP is THAT big of a deal)...and being bigger, yet fast

i'm not sure if floyd had hurt him enough to slow him down, but sergio better be careful with that hands at the waste stuff when facing floyd (IF is ever happens)

I like Sergio Martinez, But I can't see him beating Floyd Mayweather Jr.
I see Floyd being able to land his "Lead Right" at will accompanied with a good jab & a L. hook.
    (Rinse & repeat for 12rds)

It's not worth discussing Pacquiao. Any fighter who takes 5 bombs per fight is taking a serious risk with their health going in with a guy as big and heavy handed as Martinez.

Manny is a mismatch. A brawler's writing a suicide note, going in with a guy that fast and powerful.

Floyd has more of a chance. Just because he can fight without taking big shots.

i doubt Martinez power. i don't know if his power is underrated or it just happen in a perfect angle and timing.

By the way, he wouldn't beat Floyd at 154. Not saying it's a simple fight, but you'd have to back Mayweather.

He's probably a bit too sloppy, and open, to box out a points win with Mayweather. Of course, he has a punchers chance, but I think Mayweather would fancy his chances in that match up.

Going towards 160, I still wouldn't write mayweather off (you've got a good chance of beating anyone if you just don't get hit) but you'd have to tip the balance to Martinez

Great match up. If Manny aint willing to dio it with Floyd without the PEDs then Mayweather Martinez is the next best thing

    He doesn't have big power.

That was just a shot Williams didn't see.

If you see bombs, and know they are coming, you can normally fight through them.

You get hit by a bomb, you just don't see coming, you're in big trouble. It's such a shock, that your body just shuts down.

Lot of Mayweather knock downs are like that. Not huge power. His opponents just don't see them coming.

Same with Mosely nearly knocking down Mayweather. Floyd just didn't see it.

    He wasn't hurt. Just shocked

Pacquiao without the HGH wouldn't even be fighting at 147.

quick question though alot of people give both Pac and Floyd shyt for fighting fighters Matinez's age......does anyone see that as an issue or is it because he looks good right now that it doesnt matter.
