If this is true, I'm kind of dissapointed, ONLY because Arum said this should do 1.4M at the worst.

If he didn't say that, I would have been pretty happy about these figures, and still am, but I just expected more since Arum said a minimum of 1.4....

What are you talking about? 1.15 is incredible considering the economy and opponent. Not too many fights in the history of boxing did over 1.15 PPV.

I think this number just shows how well a Pacman/Mayweather fight would do. I'm assuming easily surpassing 3 million plus if they ever fought. Wow.

Just like I predicted. 1-1.1 million buys. Good numbers if true.

It's good for sport regardless of 2 foreigner fighting in US but the problem is the negotation of Pac vs Mayweather. I think Arum gonna say that the purse split is the road block.

How is 1.15 low? If you compare it to Floyd vs Marquez, which barely broke 1m. If anything, it's pretty damn good.

Consider that Floyd/Marquez was on Mexican Independence day, Marquez is more well known than Margarito, and Floyd is American, and that fight was his highly anticipated return to boxing. The guy drank his own **** ffs! Now that's good promotion! :rofl

Pac vs. Margarito, two foreign fighters, one doesn't even speak english, definitely not as popular as Marquez (in Mexico, and the US) and was caught for cheating. A lot of boxing fans boycotted his fight.

This was a good number. No way is it "low."
