Robinson wasn´t a matador. He was a butcher. 3rd. I´m a big Tiger fan but what Giardello did there was magic.
one nearly came off in the seventies but never did but it would of fitted into this category just great wilfredo benitez ko dave boy green round 12 anyway back to the topic leonard vs hagler
Ali vs. Frazier Robinson vs. LaMotta Leonard vs. Haglar Holmes vs. Shavers James Tillis vs. Mike Tyson Michael Spinks vs. Dwight Braxton
Also, a C-Level example and certainly not great fighters, but David Diaz/Kendal Holt is a great bull/matador match-up. Holt was thought highly of at one time but never had the mental strength to keep it all together. A very poor mans Roy Jones. Holt was on that night however and absolutely tooled Diaz, great dissection
Robinson vs lamotta, leonard vs hagler, leonard vs durÁn, ali vs frazier, lennox lewis vs tyson, corbet vs john l.sullivan. Tonny tucker vs tyson.......
Robinson, Leonard, Toney, Holmes are all not really "matadors". All of them did not box their opponent, they fought and counterpunched them more. That´s something different.
