What's the craic with him? It's been ages since he barely scraped a victory over that Perez guy. Are Goldenboy going to step him up soon? No mention of him getting on any of their upcoming cards. At 28 he'd really want to be getting a move on now. Hopefully we see a big fight in 2011.

I think even the guys in the Wildcard have forgotten his name.

Nice one. He's not down to fight on BoxRec. Hopefully it's against a decent opponent.

I'm sure Warren would love to get him back to the UK for a fight with Macklin. Although Macklin will probably be chasing a world title after he beats that cab driver in December.

    Boxrec not always accurate.

Why would Warren want to get him back to the UK to fight Macklin? Its not a big fight McEwan has no name outside the hardcore.

One or two fights on a Warren and he'd get a name for himself. The Scots would get behind him and All-British fights generate a lot of interest. Barker-Macklin being the case in point. His undefeated record is a bonus aswell.

I don't know what Golden boy are playing at with McEwan he's barley fighting at all now, I'd love to see him back home, a few fights over here and he'd get himself in the title mix. If I'm honest I think Macklin would beat him.

His last fight he wasn't great but there was some mess up with his training can't remember what but I remember reading something went wrong.

mccewan is nothing special imo, decent at best, winning split decisions over half decent americans isnt good enough.
