No they won't. They always say that when the numbers are first announced to soften the blow/leave room for optimism but they rarely if ever go up later.

1.15 is nothing to be ashamed of though. Good number considering the main event was a mismatch. They did a great job in selling it.

Floyd is the PPV king, that's settled. The only problem now is, will Floyd accept 50/50 split. I can understand Floyd asking for the bigger share because he's the bigger draw but I think the PPV split will become more of a pain to settle than the blood testing hullabaloo.

The numbers between Pac and May are slightly different. HOW IS FLOYD THE 'KING'? Jesus, people are ridiculous.

It's about where I thought it would be especially since it is a fight that not a lot of hardcore fans wanted.

250K buy difference = 13.75 million in PPV revenue.

That's about equal to Manny's guaranteed purse for this fight, to put things in perspective.

55/45 simple as that, pac has even had more fights on ppv and is only just catching up.

It's because people don't know what they are talking about. It's not entirely their fault because these numbers aren't well publicized, but a million buys for any fight is swimming-in-money excellent. Vargas vs Trinidad did around a half million buys and, ****, just look at some of the awful numbers that Roy Jones amassed.

You'd have to be ****ing stupid not to recognize this as a big success. When Justin ****** Bieber, someone you would rather pay NOT to be associated with boxing, is using twitter to talk about the fight it's a big deal.

there playing trick with streaming numbers again, but remember this is the same company who tried to make you believe clottey-pacquiao did 51,000 attn.

I thought it was 1.2 million buys. You got a source for 1.4?

And regardless, still stands the same. Pac is pulling in similar numbers and he's not even American.

The percentage split isn't stopping the fight.

The PED tests aren't stopping the fight.

Floyd Mayweather being on vacation and not having the "urge" is stopping the fight.

Why should the P4P #1 be forced to take a minority cut. 50/50 is more than fair, anybody who argues for a majority on either side is clearly biased.

Of course it did 1.15, Money is the cash cow. All roads lead to Floyd Mayweather.
