Two of my favorites fighters. Casamayor was a sliky lefty,quick with an iron chin,elusive and with decent power.Could have been a difficult fight for Pac.( i mean,the Pac who fought at 135 vs Diaz). But overall Pac was even faster and stronger than Casa, i think Pac wins by decision.
We will never know as he skipped the entire division. Only ever fought once at LW, once at LWW and never actually fought at LMW.... greatest of all time?? pmsl
Pacquiao prior to 130lbs was vulnerable. From 135lbs to 140lbs it's tough to pick against him even in a historical sense. I'd take him to beat Casamayor at 135lbs on points.
i think it would have been a classic, pac is clearly the better fighter but i would bet for casa for this one. i think he would be able to box with pac and win draw or lose a really close fight
Actually it could had been a classic, the slick boxer against the power puncher. But back in those days (when casamayor was at his peak) Pacquio was not the boxer that he is today, another one that I would had pay to c, Corrales vs. pacquio 135lbs, and I think casamayor was a better fighter at 130lbs.
