I was liking what I saw from Limond in the Morales fight.

I really wanted him to pull the win. He really had a proper game-plan in for this fight. He was circling, boxing well, avoiding punches, and after 3 it just seem to have slipped.

Murray would beat him at this stage.

Always felt bad for Limond. He never got that big win on his record.

esb has went down the drain the past couple of years, i've always come on these pages read through c wots happening on the british scene... what annoys me most is folk talking s*** rob palmer immediately springs to mind. i know willie very well he was offered £10,000 to fight mitchell then upto 12. that seems like a lot but when you spread that over the 8 weeks training not earning, -10% trainer 15-20% manager 4% board your not left with much, we dont live up in the hills no more! I could go on all day. willie has always been a clean living dedicated pro and i would give him a good chance with the best in europe, murray included who i rate and enjoy watching.

how do i no your not talking out of your backside. who are you?

i don't rate him as a fighter. thinks the world owes him a favour. lives of a fight he lost to a prospect. has never beat anyone decent. has a boring style.

also he is scottish. and i don't like scotland or scottish people.

Also... Never beaten anyone decent? Bullhl****
    - Choi
    - ramagoadi(sp) is certainly 'decent', after all he's beaten jamie Arthur, wale and Derry
    - kevin o hara is decent

I agree he doesn't deserve a Brit title shot yet but certainly an eliminator although he'd have no chance against Murray. Put him in with mcallister, that's a decent matchup IMO

Murray in a tough fight, I just think his workrate will swing rounds in his favour even if he misses a large percentage of punches. To avoid looking utterly foolish at points though, he MUST improve his footwork as Limond is one crafty dude.

The only Murray Limond has a chance of fighting is Andy Murray saying that I feel Andy would out box Limond and win wide on the cards. As for a fight with John Murray he doesnt deserve to fight Murray and John really should be stepping up to the next level by now.
Also John Murray beats Andy Murray it would be a decent scrap between the both but I feel John would come on a lot stronger in the final few rounds and might force a stoppage late on.

It would be last chance saloon for Willie Limond, he needs to get a decent fight and win comfortably for people to start realising this guys potential again. Willie also needs to give up the ghost of Amir Khan and get on with it, if he has anything left in his tank show us all what hes made of. He got a good opportunity with the Morales fight, just a pity he could not have went out in to the Mexican mountains to train, then the altitude thing might not have been a problem, but then again just seems to be excuses. If he doesnt get a crack at a decent fighter and takes up the offer, then he should consider retiring out of the sport to concentrate on other things that mean something to him.
