I guess you dont have to win fights to get BIG fights

I just read that good old Bob Arum wants to pit Margarito against Cotto for a rematch.

So Margo who was blasted out of Dallas Stadium by Pacquiao,gets another title shot against Cotto???

Gotta love that Bob arum.:roll:

What do you guys think...Is it a good move for Cotto at this point to fight Margo Pt2?

It worked for Cotto, Didn't he ALSO get blasted out into a Foreman 154lbs shot?

 

I'd watch this as would every other boxing fan on the planet.

 

It depends to promoter i guess,arum is investing to a fighter until he became a cash cow then he's gonna drain the fighter until the last drop of cent.

I have no problem with this fight, margarito is still a good fighter! He lost to the P4P king!! You should also mention that mosley might get a shot at pac!? I also dont have a problem with this because it would be a good scrap!!

 

Cotto beats him this time.

His confidence will be shattered.

 

Most on the general forum take the predictions of promoters seriously.

I gave up trying to explain where they were going wrong.

 

So its ok with everyone that Margo will be if the Cotto rematch gets made,getting his second title shot in as many fights???

He didnt deserve the first title shot with Pacquiao at 154.Holy ****,am i the only one...

And what happened to Cotto saying he will "NEVER" give Margo another payday from him?atsch

 

AGAIN... Ask yourself why Cotto got a championship fight at a weightclass he never even performed in to earn a shot coming directly after a loss to Manny & you have your own answer....

It makes sense for cotto and margz to get it on again.. Like bob arum said "cotto and margo took ass whoopings from pac, Now I should put them in the ring together".. It happens alot t-bone, Margarito is a big name fighter who I felt put up a better fight than cotto or clottey against pac!! Why shouldnt margarito and cotto fight again? I feel it would be competitive!! You must also note that they are both Top rank fighters, not to mention the history of the 2 fighters! Margo-cotto 2 at madison square garden sounds mouth watering to me!!!!

 

Whoever loses this fight should retire.
