    By a limp wrist ******.

    Big deal.

He was exposed afterward by his horrible fight with Mora.

    He was done.

His fights usually are. he isn't a defensive fighter but his lateral movement will eat Mosely up at this point

Exactly. Mosley's legs have been gone for years.

Pac - Mosely is a terrible matchup.

**** yes he was done, the Mora fight showed that.

People were shocked at what Floyd did, just wait till you see how badly PAC ****s him up.

Yes, he was shot. Mosley was shot when PBF fought him, and he will still be shot when Pac fights him.

But, he is still bigger than Pac. And bigger by a wider margin than he is Mayweather. That is a factor. Also, Pacquiao is not a defensive-minded fighter, as is Mayweather. Which means he has the chance to get caught just like Mayweather did by Mosley. If Pac gets hit with that same punch, fight could be over.

Finally, Mosley is a bonafide African-American fighter, the kind whom Hopkins and others seem to think Pac is avoiding.

Mosley is capable of beating Pacquiao, just as he was capable of beating Mayweather.

Shane rocked Floyd twice in the 2nd Round yet to me it looked like Shane that was ready to fall down first from exhaustion. He looked either old and shot or just nervous. I wasn't sure. The Mora fight confirmed to me Shane was old and shot. I did not want to just take away from Floyd's performance that night without further proof.

    No. Mayweather made him "shot".

And by "shot" I mean, no longer to be competitive in fights with elite or very good fighters.

Borderline. Not going to say for sure yes, or for sure no. I think he was borderline at that point.....

However, the difference between the fights is this.

Mayweather fought Mosley who everyone was saying he wouldnt, and when Berto pulled out, people were mocking floyd on what excuse he would come up with, then when he signed, people still said its because he was forced to, funnily enough, Mosley was Mayweather greatest threat outside of Pac before the fight was signed.

Mosley had also won like, 7 out of his last 8 fights going in, with his only loss coming competitively to a prime Miguel Cotto, and who was coming off the most impressive win of his recent career and was considered by everyone as one of the main men at welter, if not THE man.

When Mayweather fought Mosley, Mosley was by many people, and for many reasons, the man to beat in the division.

The flip side to that, was Mosleys age, and Mosleys inactivity.

Fast forward a year, Mosley is a year older, it was shown that he lost about 35 minutes to Mayweather, out of 36, he then couldnt beat the next fighter he faced, who happened to be unranked Mora. He has the boxing world questioning how much he really has left (much like they were Margarito when Pac fought him), many calling him shot, and others still simply calling for his retirement. He is not close to being considered by most realistic and non bias boxing fans a legit opponent, has not won a fight in two years and has put in two of his worst performances back to back in his entire career. Meanwhile, Pacs own team is mentioning what a pathetic it is, and arent exactly sure what the point of the match would be.

All in all, youve got NONE of the reasons Floyd had for fighting Mosley, and all of the negatives, and then some *That then some, being a lot.

This fight would seem, to me, beyond defensible by anyone wishing to remain legit on the issue.

When Pac is being held up to some sort of higher standard in boxing, as being this peoples champ, while all these people are supporting him **** all over Mayweather and his fans for cherrypicking, avoiding fights, fighting only for money, and pretty much all the 'bad' that there is about boxing, it is interesting how, once Pacs career looks like it is mirroring that, ever so slightly in these past couple of fights, and how the right thing would be to face a good, young champion coming off a good win, instead of these old guard names who have the boxing world actively wondering what they have left, coming off poor performances or LOSSES, how quickly many Pac fans start spouting the ever so familiar 'who knows Bradley?' or the 'Pac doesnt need to fight Bradley, it wouldnt even be competitive', and all the other trademark lines that have almost come to define the status quo of Mayweather and many of his fans.

I dont know, to me, as a fan of Pac, and of boxing, its a shame to me to see how things are starting to turn....

To me, Pac has had his time fighting the old guard of popular fighters towards the end of their road, the hoyas, the hattons, the margaritos...... now it would be nice, and is time, to give one of these young champions a chance.

    Just IMO

Mosley was about as old and shot when he fought PBF as Hopkins was when he fought Calzaghe.

    Think about it.

A young Mosley would have finished Floyd that 2nd round too.

BHop specified the black fighters Pac hasn't fought as being "slick" and "from the streets". Mosley's "power boxing" style does not fit that mold.

I don't want Pac to fight Mosley. Seriously. Doesn't need to happen. They'd scrap, yes, but I like Shane and he would be entirely too slow to avoid taking a really nasty beating. Manny would **** him up. Shane was absolutely not up to snuff against Mayweather, and it showed.
