It's not about what Floyd could have done.

It's about the fact that despite two years retirement Mayweather was still beating Pac in total sales.

    Thats my point.

I think what youre proving is that Floyd didnt fight all the Welters that Manny did. They were all there for him, Margarito, Cotto, DLH 2, Martinez, even Cintron, and he didnt fight them, he retired, Manny essentially moved up and cleaned up the division that he was supposed to, but didnt, so its more of a credit to Manny. :deal:deal

You're right, Floyds resume is all handpicks and he dodged everyone.

Yet for some reason, you, and nearly everyone else has him as P4P 1 or 2

Floyd went for the biggest fights, simple as that.

:huh Manny fought DLH who hand't fought at WW for like 7 yrs and weight drained, had a good win over Cotto, and then beat Clottey who lost to Cotto and you say he cleaned out the WW division???:?

Are you a boxing fan or a *****? Cause it sounds like you approve of a fighter doing what floyd did, which was clearly a ***** move.

but PAc'c gross income is better, and after removing DLH who seems to be a real draw the figures shows that PAC in average brings similar numbers.

Um, your point is flip flopping, you said the spirit of the thread was to justify Manny getting more than a 50/50 - I proposed a 50/50.

Now Floyd From DLH to fighting Marquez sold 3,250,000

Same period Pac MAB to Cotto = 4350000

Again - Maths not a strong point here. Facts are what I'm going for.

Now do the average... which is the whole point.

And I no where suggesting Floyd deserves more, but the fact is, per fight, he brings more to PPV. FACT

Everything is so clear now. You have Level 1 = Shane Mosley/JMM great superb HOF fighters then you have Level 2) Floyd Mayweather - Skills beyond compare at a level no other fighter under him obtained Level 3) - Manny Pacquiao - Some how he had enough will and was able to take his skills to a level nobody else in the history of the sport has been able to go yet. It could be he is just the one, it could be PED's it could be the chemistry with Roach is a bigger X factor than previously thought or a combination but he is there on Level 3 alone.
